Why couldn’t Dallas just win that one against GS! now the pick for the Thunder will stay with the Mavs now that they’re behind both Mem and Phx! think Dallas will get obove the 20 spot so the Thunder get the pick? or will it stay the same cuz the race will be too tight?

It is sad, but I am kind of pulling for my Mavs to miss the playoffs.

The reason being is this is not a Championship team and that late lottery pick could be a key piece to getting them back there, for a final stretch run with Dirk.

I see that ultimately happening by not using it but adding it into a trade package that would help obtain a better/younger SF or a C that can control the paint i.e Asik.

I am a fan of sign Deng and trade for Asik.

i could get behind that for the Mavs. who knows. if they get another piece or two along with Asik, who could have a similar effect that Chandler did when they won, they might actually get farther
