Damian Lillard who was the 6th pick in 2012 would still only go 5th in a redraft? Without any trades he would drop to 5th which is pretty shocking. Anthony Davis still goes #1 and I just couldn’t see lillard going 2-4. Theirs NO way he would go 3 or 4 to Wash or Clev and I just couldn’t see the bobcats taking him at #2 with Kemba Walker already being there best player.

Yes teams can trade up, but im saying If there was NO trades, Lillard would most likely drop to #5.

Why couldn’t he play the 2guard? 

Because it’s basketball, not NBA 2K14. Seriously, I keep hearing this again and again and it doesn’t make sense at all. 45% of Kyrie’s game comes from either pick and rolls or isolations (situations in which he has the ball in his hands); for Lillard it’s an even higher 53%. They both are among the 15 players who gets more possessions per game. How do you put these two guys together without sacrificing their best skills is beyond me. Lillard’s been great because he had the chance to play in the perfect setting for him, let him play as a spot up guy and let’s see how good he would’ve been. Not to mention you have to play defense too, and both Kyrie and Lillard are average to below average defenders playing against other point guards, let alone guarding guys they constantly give up 2 or 3 inches to.

If you’re CHA, WAS, or CLE and you all just took PGs with a lot of potential, do you take a guy who would be forced to play either back up and/or out position stunting his growth? If we were doing a re-draft without team needs involved Lillard is easily 2nd or 3rd depending on how you feel about Drummond. But when you add team needs I also see him going 5th to SAC.

 i kinda have to agree with the guy who said he likes the idea of wall and lillard in the back court.   People get too caught up in who plays what position and how they cant co exist because of it,     the game today is all about match ups,     anyone should know that.

   BUT    wall and lillard both currently play with the ball a lot,   there would definitely have to be some change in their games,    and i dont know if Wall is the type of player to make the sacrifice egoicly.  But lillard seems like a pro who wants to win.     If we just look at the combiniation of their skill sets,  its a very deadly back court.    

And not to say that the wall and beal backcourt doesnt possess similar traits,  and is even already set up for the co-existance, where wall and lillard would have some work to do, rather some changes to make.  

 but lillard has shown he is absolutely deadly from beyond the line, and wall is lightning quick and draws multiple defenders,    tons of drive and kicks, and tons of attention on lillard beyond the line, wall can be a great slasher.

  if they were to find a way to work together and get past not constantly having the ball all the time.   it could work graet,  and the double point guard system  is one that has proven to work. having 2 playmakers is only a positive thing, as long as they can defend, and they wont have too much trouble with that.

  and to be able to have at least 1 of wall or lillard out there all game, and both at the same time for large large chunks,   its hard to say anything bad about it.    the wizards would be crazy to not take lillard at 2.    for all we know wall could be a great shooting gaurd,   and positions  just go out the window, when you have  2 great back court players,  who can  play to their advantages, make other teams change their game to match them. really dictate the flow of the game, and drop points in a hurry.

     although drummond would be a solid option to,  wall and drummond,   enough said.    im not one to say drummond will be best center in the league in a few years,  but  his ability to impact the game is inparallaled and if his skills advance then who knows just how high his ceiling is.
