McWinningParticipantDo you guys think he can make it in the NBA? Hes a great defender, not as good offensively, but decent. I think he can be a lot like Mbah Moute, or Jared Jeffries.

TurkParticipantBeing a Gopher’s fan and watching him these last few years, I don’t think he has the requisite skills to play in the League. I see him as a player going overseas and playing well.
He is an above average defender on the college level but if he were to take it to the next level, I don’t think his defense would carry him especially since his offense is only average at a college level.0 - Posted on: Wed, 03/10/2010 - 10:40am #264619

JNixonParticipantHe’s not even really suitable to be a 5th option offensively, and his defense is only decent for NBA standards. Very long shot.

BraceJohnson has the defensive talent length and quickness to stop Kobe, only if he has the drive to do it though. He has enough offensive skill to succeed in the NBA too. When Michael Jordan came into the NBA he wasn’t a very good shooter, but he worked HARD, which is what Johnson needs to do. Johnson is BEAST!

xbadgerhustlerParticipantjohnson didn’t seem to improve much from year-to-year. The player I saw this year was largely the same player that came into the program a couple years back.
shows that he doesn’t quite understand what it takes to get better.
i don’t think he makes it in the NBA, but I can see how he might find his way onto an NBA roster because of the energy he puts forth on defense.
