KevinDurantRocksParticipantI know its one game but lakers played well, derek fisher and Bryant shot pretty bad but the rest of the group was normal. Dallas just played better, and i dont think dallas had caron butler

llperezkobe was unable to get it going. I am getting dissapointed in pau right now. He has been playing soft down the stretch on offense. Dirk and terry both made big shots. I think dallas will probably be the biggest threat to the lakers in the west this year. Haywood looks real good for them and might be just as important as getting caron butler.

NYK2010ParticipantGood win for Mavs they played well w/out Butler.
Haywood was a factor inside, Bynum 5 To’s I still think he’s not consistent enough.
Pau Gasol only 8 shots while Kobe and Fisher take 36 that makes no sense.
BTW where was the great Laker bench you guys talk about, outside of Odom no one made an impact.
Mavs bench wasn’t good either outside of Terry.0 - Posted on: Wed, 02/24/2010 - 7:49pm #260143

llperezso because of this game, the lakers bench sucks? Yeah they did look bad tonight, but that’s one game. They were solid against memphis yesterday.
phil played brown and farmar a total of 28 minutes and they got 9 points on 6 shots and couple rebounds/assist/steals/turnovers. Not big games, but not the reason the lakers lost either. Add in a great game by odom who was arguably the the lakers mvp tonight and i wouldn’t call out the bench on this one. If anything, phil needs to trust his bench more and sit fisher.

marcusfizer21ParticipantI thought adding Brendan Haywood was more important than adding Caron because Damp really sucks… He is probably the most underrated acquisition from all the trades… He had 5 blks tonight and was a key force down low though he didn’t need to score much but his presence is very important for Dallas especially down the playoffs…
