I just wanted to show some love to one of the best high school basketball players ever. He was one of the first point guards that Jon Calipari coached who after a 1 and done college career at Memphis (avg.21.2ppg) was selected in the lottery. He was supposed to be a bigger and stronger Allen Iverson but due to a colitis condition his career in the NBA was basically cut short. Check his high school stats from his freshman to senior year…

    Freshman – 26 ppg
    Sophmore – 35.3 ppg
    Junior – 31.9 ppg
Senior – 42.5 ppg (including a 100 point performance in a single game)

he got drafted to cleveland a year before lebron, so if he woulda stayed healthy he and lebron could have formed one heck of a 1-2 punch

Shout out to Camden! I’ve been watching dajaun since he was in HS, he was gonna be great, he had it all, after that 100 pt game he was thought he could even go 1st overall. It’s a shame about those damn injuries, if he coulda stayed healthy, & with Lebron coming to the cavs a yr or 2 after him, they coulda been somethin special.

KU PRIDE14, He went to Memphis for 1 year and did very well. He went to the nba after that and was picked by the Cavs, I want to say 9th overall but I’m not sure. He averaged around 13 ppg but shot a low percentage but people where still very high on him and he just needed time to adjust to the nba speed. Unfortunataly he didn’t get that chance when he was diagnosed with a colon disease that 1 in 100,000 people get (some crazy unlikely stat like that). I think he was on a all rookie team.
