TPost315ParticipantOk, to start off I am a Syracuse fan.
Now with that being said tonight’s game was an interesting game at the least. Now comes the infamous timeout call by Boeheim. I dont know the exact rule, maybe it was a bad call.
But I have seen so much whining over the call, I can understand being a Uconn fan or a fan that just hates Syracuse. But at a certain point blaming the refs for just that ONE call is stupid. Uconn had the chance to win it with the ball and they took a 3, from dyson who had an open shot. They could’ve waited for a better shot.
Also there were 39 other minutes they had to win the game or take over and lead but they just never did.0 - Posted on: Thu, 02/11/2010 - 3:53am #254982
tonyl33ParticipantAll I have to say are two things. Refs don’t win games, players do. Home court advantage Baby :-D!!!!!!

Dhamp2ParticipantIt was the right call. Boeheim requested and was granted a timeout, as should any other coach in basketball.
Dhamp2….the greatest basketball mind in the world. Next to Hubie Brown anyway.
Kris Joseph is a three-point shot away from being a first round draft pick.
Wesley Johnson will be a lottery pick.
Syracuse has at least five, maybe six draftable players.
Willie Warren won’t be a lottery pick.0 - Posted on: Thu, 02/11/2010 - 5:58am #254990

BKKnicksfanParticipantIm scared about SU. There good I will say that but I think they won’t win a Championship this year.

TPost315Participanti keep seeing so many people complain that the call cost them the game. Like please there were 39 other minutes to win the game and you had the ball for the last shot, dont blame it on the refs for one call!!!

TPost315ParticipantLol….I think that if he gets a jumper and 3pt shot down he will be first round pick.
He already has the driver/slasher, nice mid range floater and good free throw shooter and he can rebound and he can jump!!
