Memphis needs all the outside shooting they can get….Mike Miller has been as good as advertised,but the fg % of their other guards off the bench have been terrible!! Bayless is shooting 35%,Franklin is shooting 35%,Calathes is shooting 38% …The opportunity is there for Curry to get playing time if he makes his shots on a consistent basis….

They brought him in for a pre-draft workout,offered him a training camp invite..But he turned it down,hoping to latch on with his brother’s team….His contract becomes guaranteed if he’s with the team by Mid-January…Memphis plays Stephen’s Warriors on March 28th….

 When I saw "Curry to Memphis!"  I thought maybe the Golden State Warriors traded Steph and I was stunned.  To my dismay it was about Seth Curry who is a marginal NBA player at best.  Shooters are always at a premium, but if Seth is on the floor they better have 4 lockdown defenders with him because he’s slower than molasses.

 That’s funny how I  had Seth Curry going to Memphis in my mock draft from last year. They must really not count on Calathes that much. It’s starting to look really foolish of Memphis to get rid of Tony Wroten for just a 2nd round pick.
