i saw this post Gatorheels and i reposted it….thinking of what team current free agents might go to, my bad if you are pissed if i stole the post but this is what i think

Allen Iverson – (Knicks)…..they need veteran presence, and really don’t have a legit scoring option. Iverson will be a great pickup

Bobby Jackson – (76ers)…..Louis williams will be a experiment at point guard…..if he chokes they really need someone to depend on quite frankly it shouldn’t be holiday. Jackson will be a good starter or backup…..so they should pick him up

Rashad McCants- (Rockets)……They have nobody that could put the ball on the floor and score, this is what mcants gives you…this guy will scorch it from 3pt land, and can drive in….rockets lack players that can create off the dribble, since tmac is injured and might not come back till late mcants will be a good pickup

Jacque Vaughn – (Celtics)….there back up point guard is a 2nd round rookie, right now they are finals bound, but with an unproven rookie, backing up your PG…things won’t usually look bright. vaughn has been i the playoffs and knows what it means to win….He is also a good defensive player

Juan Dixon- (Kings)……Can Play Pont guard and shooting guard, knows when to pass first, but can also just go off and score….evans is suppose to play PG but with the amount of turnovers and mindset ( Scoring first) he has….he will be better off a shooting guard the rest of his career

Gerald Green- (Thunder)….Green fits their style perfectly…..he is as athletic and will get better, he does need to improve his defense, also improve his IQ…..but with the thunder he can really show what he is worth

Von Wafer- (Knicks)……he can really score, amazing athlete…fast can rebound, knicks should pounce on this guy since nobody wants him, and what ive seen of him he can really play D

Luther Head- (D league) ……this guy should go try out for a team , and explode there right now it seems like nobody wants him, i use to think this guy was something else , but right now he should go show what he worth in a dleague team

Ronald “Flip” Murray – (Timberwolves)…..they have no shooting guard besides wellington, Flip can score and ca start right away , and can contribute

Maurice Ager – ( D-League)……he was on a depleted nets team and did not get any minutes, he should go to dleague and try to become better, and dominate . He will then find a home

Kareem Rush – (Hornets)…..This Guy can score…..but doesn’t know when too, he shoots too much and makes too little…..needs to control…..Chris paul will make him a better player, and will contribute on a good team , but has to play his role….not kobe’s

Desmond Mason – (Nets)…..They have a young core , and a veteran high flyer. He can score when he needs to and can play some good Defense….he can help the nets avoid being the worst team in the league

Keith Bogans – (Suns)….i think he can take barnes role , and wil be okay in the fast break game…. he never really averaged more than 10ppg but will contribute in other ways

Rodney Carney -( Bulls)…..This Guy is a banger, and with little minutes can still score enough points…he can help backup a forward needed team in the bulls

This is what i think….Agree or Disagree? You tell me

Man I would love to see this guy play to his potential cuz he just has so much promise in him. Plus if he gets more playing time we will be able to see some good dunks haha.

Naw….Guru its all good….you had some cool thoughts on where these free agents should land. I haven’t really thought about McCants & the Rockets. I’m not sure if I like that or not. Once McGrady is gone I guess McCants would have the opportunity to start. I wouldn’t mind seeing McCants go to the Hornets. They need an upgrade at SG. The Knicks should go after him too if they were smart.

I think Desmond Mason could help the Bulls.

I could see 4 or 5 of these players not get signed but most of them should. Mason, Flip, McCants, Wafer, Iverson, & Jackson I feel confident will all get signed.

Bogans Was a real difficult one……he has done little in his time in the NBA, one season averaged 30 mpg and averaged 8ppg.

I watched a lot of him in Sac last year and he can still play. I think the Kings should try and keep him. He is a fan favorite for his effort and he likes to get out and participate in the comunity. He also works really hard and could be a good veteran example for the younger guys. If he would choose to return over trying to win a title, the Kings would be dumb not to happily oblige him.

Allen Iverson to the Bobcats. It is the only place where he can start and wont get benched. The Knicks dont need him even if it just for a year. The should sign McCants.

Allen Iverson – (Knicks) Heat they need a scorer alongside Wade.
Bobby Jackson – (76ers) i agree with that
Rashad McCants- (Rockets) i think New Orleans they need a shooting guard.
dont have time for the rest.

Those are definitely some possibilities… I am looking forward to Von Wafer having a good season with any team… He has proven his worth at Houston last season… Gerald Green needs to find a team that suits him the best…

These are all guards and small forwards lol. But yea there are still a lot of good free agents for the teams that need depth.

Joe Smith is looking to sign with ATL or Cleveland

Von Wafer- would do well in the Knicks system but might not get as much PT, he should look at the Hornets

Keith Bogans- solid veteran, plays D, still somewhat young at 29…the Spurs, Nuggets, Celtics should take a look…bargain deal

Jacque Vaughn- Celtics do need a back up PG, he’d be solid there or Denver as the 3rd PG or BUcks 3rd PG or Magic 3rd PG

Bobby Jackson- I can see him signing with the Celtics or Hawks

Allen Iverson- would love to see him as a member of the Heat….him and Wade make a tough back court

Joe Smith is a solid forward and I WISH he would stay in Cleveland… He can provide solid minutes off the bench and is a terrific teammate… He’s a consummate professional and is a hardworker, a veteran that the Cavs can take their chance with… His 19 point eruption against the Pistons in the first round of the playoffs proved that he can still do it though not on a daily basis… If Cleveland signs him, they must win NOW for father time is catching up on Avrage Joe.

Bottomline, I would love for Joe Smith to remain in Cleveland.
