Anyone heard Sager during the Rookie/Sophmore MVP presentation, when he blasted DeMarcus Cousins and calling him basically a selfish individual in millions of audience. I know some of it is fact, bit this is an all star event, no need to bash or disrespect anyone specially when it’s natioanlly televised. Cousins is by the way just 20yrs old and immature but still, I thought that was out of line. Even John Wall was kinda shocked based on his facial reaction.

He’s going to have a lot of critics, and people bashing and blasting him. I think every time they blast him, its uncalled for. It seems like these days everyone is emphasizing on all the negative things when it comes to Cousins, but ignoring how much positive he brings to the game. Very disrespectful, and to think I felt bad when KG blasted him telling him to take off the suit he had and burn it and to never wear it again. But now I see, even people behind a desk or with a mic need to be checked every now and then.

I’m not sure if that wasn’t scripted. Somehow I have a feeling TNT suggested those comments to Sager, which is even worst.

I was gonna say, looking at DeMarcus’ face, Craig better watch it man. That being said, not playing it off like it is not a big deal means that DeMarcus is probably incredibly immature. It was a low blow, but take it in stride big man.

What do you want Cousins to do? He just got sucker-punched on national television, his reaction could have been worse in all honesty. He played a good game, was just enjoying himself and some jerk tears him down in front of everyone. This was such a bad move, Sager crossed the line there.

Also, Wall’s reaction is so much funnier second time around.

It’s ok Demarcus, just keep letting your game do the talking. I also hated Craig Sager’s interview with Melo. He had spent about a half an hour answering those same questions earlier in the day and he kept trying to prod him into saying something. I know Melo brought all of it on himself but he has handled it consistently and professionally all season and I really am starting to feel bad for him. I hope he comes out Sunday night with a strong performance and hopefully the media can talk to him about that instead.
