kanebangerParticipantYou know cousins has a bad attitude if hes telling an NBA team he wont workout for them because he thinks they are taking someone else with the pick. Anyone who hasnt read that cousins said he wont workout for the wolves because he thinks they are taking wes Johnson. What does he know hes an ignorant 19 year old

Mr.Knick 32ParticipantNot really. IMO, Cousins doesn’t wanna waste time.
Do I agree with just coming out and saying it? No. I would have came down with a mysterious ankle sprain or something but Cousins doesn’t believe he will be a T-Wolves so why go workout there? Sacramento and Golden State are probably better fits at this time for Cousins anyway.

Tyreke JohnsonParticipantYea if the team does not have any interest in you, you are wasting both you and their time, he is bound top 5 pick anyway but Minnesota would not draft him.

the I in winParticipantIt isn’t Cousins saying he won’t play, it’s his agent saying he shouldn’t.

Tongue-Out-Like-23ParticipantWhat do you know? You’re posting threads about him while he’s going to the NBA.
Checkmate.

plasticmanParticipantI wouldn’t want to work out with them either. They are most likely not going to draft him, and if they do he is going to be stuck playing in a crowded rotation of bigs unless they make some trades. This is a business, when it comes down to it the teams do not really care about the players, so as a player I would not feel any obligation towards the Wolves in this situation.
ps…Cousins is going to be a beast. If my Kings don’t take him i will break something lol.

lalailaParticipantWe know Cousins is huge skilled beast with soft touch and nice footwork but this is the thing i wanted to hear.
“Cousins had an excellent workout with the Sacramento Kings, grading out as the best shooter to visit Sacramento in the predraft process. He hit 78 percent of his shots in the workout, including a lot of pick-and-pop attempts.”
don’t forget he was jump shooter and even 3point shooter in HS and he played in the post not because he is bad shooter but just because Cal made him a true C but he is still the same Cousins, 300pounder who can shoot.

ItsVictorOladipoParticipantlol. I love the double standard in the drafting process. Minny is clearly targeting Wes Johnson by all accounts. Sure they want to bring in Cousins for a workout but more than anything rumors are suggesting that it’s all posturing. Minny is trying to make it see like they might be interested in Cousins so that teams feel like they have to trade up with Minny for the big man. A pretty common occurance by teams leading up to the draft.
If Cousins agent feels that the TWolves aren’t serious about drafting Cousins then it’s in his clients best interests to focus elsewhere. Private workouts in Sacramento as well as a head to head matchup with Favors in NJ seems more worthy of his time.
