Boston would get Bledsoe and Jordan as young pieces. Odom has an expiring deal and Butler would be serviceable while filling out the salary requirements.

The Clippers would add Pierce and KG to make a run at the title this year and also give Paul incentive to resign this offseason. KG has said he only wants to be traded if they also trade Pierce with him. The Truth is from LA so this would be the only deal I could see possibly happening.

This deal favors the Clips in my estimation but Boston isn’t going to have many options on moving their aging stars..they should take what they can get in my opinion instead of just letting time take it’s course on the team like it has been the past 4 years.

You only posted a link to the ESPN trade machine and not the link to the trade itself. But I am assuming you meant Jordan, Odom, Bledsoe, and Butler for KG and Pierce right?

KG has to agree to this, its called a “No trade” clause for good reason.

I know this that is why I posted the article saying he would only ACCEPT a trade if Paul was getting traded as well.

There would be a lot less “Lob” in Lob City

That’s true, but DJ is overrated and with KG and the Truth on the squad, they’d be a LEGIT championship contender. I’m sure they’d trade that in for lobs.

Jordan would be the only thing holding the Clips back from making this deal…however a guy you pay 10 million dollars and can’t play the final minutes of a close game because he can’t make a foul shot to save his life is expendable if you are getting two hall of famers in my opinion.

Why not add Jamaal Crawford for Jet Terry to make it more even cuss i think the Clippers are stealing Boston with the original.

Not a bad trade, but I don’t think the Celtics are ever going to trade Pierce.

Denver has the ammo. A lot of talented young players plus 11 million trade exception from Nene. Pairing KG with Faried or McGee (Assuming one will be in such a deal) will make Denver a real threat.

The trade make sense to me alot of sense, wouldn’t be suprised if it happens.

KG and Pierce time is winding down, they know with Rondo out they have no chance at all winning something, so them going to LA with CP3,Blake,etc is their best bet to win and go out with a bang.

Celtics want to rebuild, you bring in a vet(Caron Butler) and you bring in two young guys with alot of potential(Bledsoe and Jordan), If Jordan pans out he could be one of the best big men in the game.

If Bledsoe pans out he could be one of the best PG’s in the game, also with Bledsoe panning out, you now can trade Rondo(Which Ainge has been wanting to do) and get another great piece and now the Celtics are right back in the mix as contenders.

Huge risk/High Reward for the Celtics.

But it all makes perfect sense on both sides.
