Disclaimer: I am not a Cavs fan whatsoever, in fact, I hate the Cavs and I hate Lebron, but I know good basketball when I see it, and I try to be as unbiased as possible. With that being said…

Can the Cavs go 16-0 in the playoffs? I mean, they are just crushing everything that gets in its way, I understand that this Raptors team is no Thunder or Warriors, but they aren’t the 76ers either. They are in the ECF for a reason. Especially if the Thunder beat the Warriors, I could see the Cavs go 16-0, if the Warriors win, I feel like they match up better with the Cavs and may even win, but I also would not be surprised to see the Cavs go 16-0 in these playoffs. Which would be more impressive than 73-9 in my opinion. I might get a lot of negs for this, but I’m just observing…

So what do you all think?

I would be extremely surprised if they went 16-0, whether they play the Thunder or Golden State. It’s an extremely difficult feat to pull off, to play at your best for 16 straight games without having a single off night, the other team not having a hot night (especially against a team like the Warriors who can just have those hot nights from downtown and drop 120 on you), is extremely unlikely.

If they sweep the Raptors like it appears they will, then they will be well-rested for the Warriors or Thunder since that series will likely go 7 games. They will be plenty rested. But yes, I agree that if the Warriors drop 120 then the Cavs will have an extremely hard time beating them, that’s why the playoffs are so great. Teams can bounce back real quick.

I fully expect the Cavs to head to the finals with a 12-0 record but definitely do not see them getting 16-0. They are playing amazing right now but they haven’t played anyone like the Spurs, Thunder or Warriors yet. Pistons, Hawks, and Raptors are just no where close to any of those 3 teams. Their offense and defense are really just clicking right now, but they just haven’t faced a championship quality team yet.

They haven’t played anyone. The Raptors are 8-7 so far this post season, the reasons they are in the ECF are 1. Paul George doesn’t have teammates. 2. Chris Bosh and Whiteside are hurt. That’s it as far as I’m concerned and their team looks like a team that just played back to back 7 game serise with multiple OT games, they’re hurtin! DeRozen and Carroll and beat up and Valanciunas hasn’t even played. At full strength the Raptors are a competitive team, not a team that should be in the ECF. It would have been fun to see Dragic, Wade, Deng, Bosh, and Whiteside sqaure off with the Cavs.

     Yes, they ‘could’.

I hope this answers your question, because there’s nothing else to say, really!!

Barring from unforeseen, catastrophic level injury it would be next to impossible for Cleveland to beat the warriors 4 times in a row. This is a team that hasn’t even lost 2 games in a row this season. It would be extremely unlikely (although maybe slightly more probable) that they could pull off a sweep of OKC. Either way, I’d say the odds aren’t good. The chance that they get to the finals unscathed however is looking better and better.

my question is, why do you hate someone if you don’t personally know him?

I’m gonna say absolutely not. The Raptors are in the ECF because everyone else either played the Cavs (Hawks), wasn’t good enough (Pistons, Pacers, Celtics), or had major injuries (Heat). If the Heat had their whole roster, they could’ve gotten a game or 2 this series, but instead they’re playing a hobbling Raptors team.

The Thunder and Warriors are just too good to get swept by anyone

Cant say anything pumping up the Cavs without getting negged. They’ve been the best team in the playoffs by a significant margin so far though.

Probably not 16-0 but I’ve got them for the chip at this point.

They have the talent to pull it off, especially now that they’ve built some chemistry and are playing the best basketball since LeBron went back to Cleveland. If it’s the Warriors, it’s a very slim chance but against the Thunder, they could totally go 16-0.
