high floorParticipantLast night against the Denver Nuggets, Devin Booker dropped a career high 35 points on an efficient 12/24 shooting in a losing effort. He was also 10/11 from the free throw line. His previous game against the New York Knicks, Booker scored 32 points on 14/28 shooting. Pretty impressive for a 19 year old.
What’s cool about those 2 consecutive performances is that Booker became the second teenager in NBA history to score 30 pts in back to back games. The other… Lebron James. Devin Booker could become a really, really good scorer in this league as his game continues to mature.

Mr. 19134ParticipantI kno ita early but ill be dumbuckled if he didnt remind me of a young Ray. During the draft thought he had Klay type potential. He looks even more dangerous on offense tho he hes faster with more ball handling ability then people realized.

knicks4lyfe88ParticipantHis game is really advanced at such an early stage. Pheonix would be the perfect landing spot for ben simmons

DunksNJordans23ParticipantI LOVE (Mike Wilbon voice) Devin Booker. Obviously people look at Devin Booker and notice he’s 6’5, he can shoot the rock from 3 at a high percentage, and he looks like he should be in a boy band. Now you’re telling me he’s more than that!??!?
First of all I think it’s great that Devin Booker, a teenager, isn’t letting his emotions get the best of him while being on the Sorry Suns. The Suns right now are AWFUL. He could easily go out there every night and just chuck 3’s, shoot a poor percentage, show no effort on defense, or any enthusiasm in the game of basketball. Anyway, I guess I’m trying to say I’m impressed by his maturity not only as a basketball player but as a man. Here’s to hoping he continues to improve and to a long career.

mercyman25ParticipantSpecial class. Is it too soon to predict Booker will be a top ten player in his prime? If he can improve his defense maybe top 5.

Andrew1984ParticipantOne of the things that I love about the NBA is that there are no helmets, face masks, or hats; you can see the players’ facial gestures and expressions and you can observe so much about them from their demeanor, body language, and the way they carry themselves. I think that’s a factor that a lot of stat honks and analytics experts undervalue. In that regard, Booker is impressive. He’s poised, humble, expects to excel, and even seems to demonstate sportsmanship, which is severely lacking in today’s pro sports world.

mercyman25ParticipantHe is a competitor first and foremost. In a game he played versus the Cavs he blocked a drive by LeBron and followed through and got a piece of LeBrons face. LeBron tried to stare him down and Booker just ignored it as if he didn’t even know he just stuffed LeBron James it was just a good hard foul to stop the play. Not very many rookies have that kind of moxie. If he improves his defense the sky is the limit.

Jr. ROXASParticipantHis handles are what impressed me the most. He dribbles it nice with either hand, especially his off-hand. He’s a very advanced slasher too. Off-footed, off-hand layups but he makes them look so smooth. Definitely a lot of Bradley Beal in his game.

reinie13_phxParticipantBook has four 30 point games this season as a teenager. He’s only the 4th player in nba history to achieve that. LeBron had 20, carmelo had 10, and Durant had 7. With a little less than 20 games left and with him also not turning 20 until a month into next season, I think he can pass Durant and maybe catch melo. The lone bright spot for my suns this year. But it’s been amazing to watch him progress so much in such a short period of time. He’s so poised and so disciplined, plays good D, is really good at making decisions with the ball, and a knock down shooter. At 6’6 205 he’s the prototypical sg for this era. So fun to watch him not back down from veterans and even legends. I love everything about this kids game.
