cavairo7ParticipantIt’s very subjective as to who different people would identify/perceive to be the most complete basketball player is in our league; some may say LeBron, some may say Durant; heck some may say Draymond Green.
With that in mind, here’s a little fun exercise; construct what you perceive as the most complete basketball player using the current skillsets and intangibilities of NBA players currently in the league. Rules that I gave myself, 1) You are ONLY allowed to use one skillset or intangibility of a given player (ex. Stephen Curry’s outside shooting), 2) To not be vast like NBA 2K, I limited it to 12 basketball catagories: Body-type (includes strength & size), Outside Shooting, Mid-Range Shooting, Slashing, Playmaking, Rebounding, Defense, Ball-Handling, Quickness, Athleticism, Leadership, & Bball I.Q 3) Skillsets/intangibilities must be from current players as they are at this moment in time (you can’t say 2009 LeBron’s slashing).
Here is my Complete Basketball Player:
- Body-type: Giannis Antetokounmpo
- Outside Shooting: Stephen Curry
- Mid-Range Shooting: DeMar DeRosen
- Slashing: Andrew Wiggins
- Playmaking: LeBron James
- Rebounding: Kenneth Faried
- Defense: Kawaii Leonard
- Ball-Handling: Kyrie Irving
- Quickness: John Wall
- Athleticism: Russell Westbrook
- Leadership: Chris Paul
- Bball I.Q.: Dwayne Wade
How about you guys? How would you construct your complete basketball player?

HitsterParticipantPlaymaking I’d probably go with CP3, Bodytype I’d say LBJ given his extra bulk to the Greek Freak. But if you wanted freakish size the Embeast would be an option. Also would want LBJ possibly on leadership if you took him off something else
Faried on rebounding is interesting, Whiteside sprang to mind when I saw that.
AD would surely have to be considered somewhere too (brow not included).

EndlessknightParticipantThe complete basketball player has already been done; his name is Michael Jordan. Jordan had no flaws to his game (unless you count being a compete a-hole and basketball flaw)

holefillers1ParticipantHe is also a big time gambler. A lot of people in the know believe that’s why he retired the first time.

Andrew1984ParticipantFor what it’s worth, I still maintain that Yao Ming was a science project undertaken by a team of Chinese scientists, attempting (unsuccessfully) the above.
There were still some bugs to work out in the programming.
