 Yeah man I couldn’t tell which one was the mock or the actual draft this was the closest mock draft I can ever remenber honestly in the all my time following the draft which has been forever.

 The mock was very accurate this year, but I also did notice the time stamp change on their mock twice during the top 20 selections with minor changes so they did have a little in draft help.  Unfortunatley I didn’t see the final mock right before the draft because of the site crashing right before/at the start of the draft.

Draftexpress was also known to do this in the past, I guess the pressure of being able to say you had the most accurate mock out of all the experts/draft sites leads to some cheating.

What time stamp do you see for the site because mine is off from what I see for Aran’s mock due to the settings? I have him at 6/21/18 at 9:15 AM

 At beginning of draft mine was 6/21 8:35 am, once draft started it changed to 8:51 and then the final 9:15 one.

 By any chance, do you recall which picks were modified to be accurate after the draft started?

 Just this site is off by 6 hours. I post at 2:18 pm and it reads 8:18 am. So 9:15 am would be 3:15 pm, when the draft started at 7:30 pm.

 I looked at 5 mocks while researching for mine and NBAdraftnet with the 16 correct first rounders def most accurate as The Ringer had 11, Nbadraftroom 7, Wasserman Bleacher Report 8, and just followed tweets of Giovany since I am not going to pay for ESPN Insider so don’t know how accurate their actual mock was.

 also props to aran for sticking with landry shamet. He had him as a first rounder for over a month now even when givony had him in the 40’s.

Thanks. Yeah that was pretty insane getting that many picks right. (16 on the money and 5 off by one pick). Almost had the entire lottery pegged. By far the best we have ever done. I had a lot of good intel prior to draft from scouts and insiders and some blind luck always helps. The Robinson at 13 was just sort of a hunch after really liking him breaking down his video in depth over the past couple weeks and thinking he’d be a Jerry West kind of player. Was something I’d thought and then heard could happen a week or so before draft and kept him there…..Had heard the night before that Porter could really slide due to the back medicals but the word was that Dallas might take him at 5 regardless. Also got word on Williams sliding within the past day or two. Turned out to be medicals that likely cost him 10 or so spots……………………………………………

Wonder if any of our community was able to get close to the same results, considering a mock made today could be built starting with our mock and making changes……………………………………………………..

BTW: The time stamp is off since the internal clock of site has an issue. but I did not make any changes after the draft began. There are quite a few eyes on the site when the draft starts ;)……………………………………………………..

As always, enjoy the comments and steal a lot of ideas from you guys. Glad this forum community is still going strong without many new additions due to the spamming and capcha issues over the past year or so. We’ll get the user drafts all scored soon so everyone can see how they did. There are new site plans in the works. Moving site to a new server and changing site format. But we plan on keeping the forum and draft game as close to the way it’s currently set up………………………………………………………..
