d-grizzlyParticipantEast
orlando – LOCK
boston, – LOCK
cleveland,- LOCK
atlanta, – lock
chicago – lockWest
Lakers – LOCK
Spurs – LOCK
Portland – lock
Dallas – lock
Denver – lockI’ve thought very hard about the last 3 teams in each conference that would make the playoffs.
5 teams in the east and 4 teams in the west fall into a category of strong playoff possibilities.
East – toronto, philly, pistons, wizards, heat
West – Suns, New orleans, Houston, Utah.
Only 3/5 East teams with strong playoff chances will make it, leaving 2 teams to miss the playoffs. Only 3/4 teams left with strong playoff chances will make it, leaving one team to miss it.
I ask you who you think of the 5 in the east, and 4 in the west with strong playoff chances – who will make the playoffs.

llperezI like Wizards better then either chicago or atlanta. Also, I wouldn’t put Houston and the suns ahead of the clippers and memphis.
Anyways, i see the final results as:
east:
1boston
2orlando
3cleavland
4washington
5atlanta
6toronto
7chicago
8philidelphia/indianawest:
1laLakers
2san antonio
3denver
4portland
5dallas

McWinningParticipantput in the Hornets. their underrated Paul and West are All-Stars and i think Okafor will be too. look how much Paul helped Chandler Okafor is a better player than him and should be a beast. their lineup isnt that deep but i think they are still a shoe-in.

ItsVictorOladipoParticipantI’m gonna jump on the bandwagon and say Chicago is NOT a lock. They barely made the playoffs last year and yes Rose should be much improved but they also lost arguably their MVP in Ben Gordon and still don’t have the low post scorer they desperately need.
I think the Heat, Raps, Wiz and Bulls will get in but those 4 teams are certainly not locks.
In the West I think the Hornets are also a lock and I feel that the Jazz won’t miss the playoffs either. A top PG in D-Will, a good and very deep frontcourt in Boozer, Millsap, Kirilenko and Okur and a defensive stopper in Ronnie Brewer should be enough to make the playoffs.
I think that the Warriors will be the final team to make the playoffs in the West.

YouthinkyouknowParticipantI believe Memphis can suprise alot of people and sneak into that 7-8th spot they sure do have the talent to make it a reality wether ai comes of the bench or starts he is a player that can still be very affective in this league.
