I just recently got back into Wrestling hardcore a few months ago after almost a decade away from  the sport (RIP Eddie G)

I got back into it because it felt like the WWE(F) was changing for the better, gone where the Steroid abusing stiffs that couldn’t perform a proper leg drop, in their place are a collection of awesome Wrestlers with loads of talent of charisma

Entering the Royal Rumble I thought the potential to do something special was clearly in the plans

What actually happened was rather upsetting, as they (Vincent most likely) decided to throw all that hard work and good will built up over the last year right out the window

They decided to put the "World Title" on the universally bland John Cena (who everyone but the children HATE!)

After thatdisgustingly predictable match came the ROYAL RUMBLE match itself, where half way through became a terrible example of what NOT to do with their Roster of talent

The crowd was red hot for BRAUN, and they let a underwhelming Baron Corbin eliminate him and the crowd recoiled into their shells until the ring filled up with enough bodies to bring out Brock Lesner, Bill Goldberg and the Undertaker! What potential right? WRONG!

One Spear later, Brock is gone, 1 choke slam later Goldberg’s gone, and after NO surprise entries the whole match, out comes # 30 Roman Reigns (who has been universally rejected by the fans) to face off with the Undertaker, well what happened next was baffling, Roman kinda sorta turns Heel by eliminating the Dead Man and Chris Jericho (who the crowd loves for a list full of reasons)

Instead of just going ahead with the "plan" to put Roman over, they instead have Randy Orton RKO him "outta nowhere" and toss him out for the win, which in itself was as boring and underwhelming as you’d think…

Instead of going into MANIA season with endless possibilities, we get Orton vs Cena (yawn) Roman vs Undertaker (who wanted to see that) and Brock vs Goldberg part 3 (with Lesner looking as weak as Enzo Amore did last night)

Kevin Owens got to keep his belt to set up a match with either Jericho (why) or Finn Balor (who should’ve been #30 if they planned to keep Owens as champ)

I know it’s a long winded off topic rant, but did anyone watch the RR, and an even bigger question would be, did anyone enjoy it?

I’ve watched it and I may have to stop watching the Royal Rumble match after today. Clearly, they don’t want to use the Rumble match to put over new guys and it’s sad. The Cena/Styles match is a match of the year candidate regardless of the result. I did enjoy it but I would have enjoyed it more if Bray won the rumble match instead of Orton.

Randy Orton is one of the best wrestler of our generation, I think hes just used incorrectly but as far as talent hes one of the best.. WWE needs to find bigger guys with Charisma to add to the roster, WCW had some and its the reason why the gave WWF a run for their money.. WWE continues to shove John Cena down fans throats and its becoming stale..

One positive was Tye Dillinger’s entrance at number 10. Other than that, the event was garbage. I still can’t get over it… Roman Reigns, really now WWE???
