I looked at the freshmen rankings and happened to see trey ziegler ranked number 33. Now fyi ziegler is a solid “6”5 swingman from Mt. Pleasant Michigan who can also play some point. Now he could have went to schools like ASU or UCLA…but he chose to play for his dad at Central Michigan which is in MT. Pleasant. Im confident he’ll have a solid year with the Chippewas but that’s it. Not tryin to hate on the dude but his game really only at the MAC level and he would of been shut down in the PAC 10. The only reason he got alot of hype is because the stats he put up on a sorry high school team. My boy Darvin Ham Jr. went D2 and i think he’s just as good if not better than Ziegler. The fact that Maurice “Pookie’ Jones from Arther Hill High School in Saginaw MI isn’t on the list kills me. The dude is five seven and i have literally seen him shut down ziegler in the paint. I’ve watched him play over the past 3 years and he’s way better than Keith Appling AND Ray Macallum or any other Michigander prospect. Jones will be a top notch college player and you can take that to the bank. Look out for him at USC next year.

but no doubt 10 was more impressive the way he made plays

i know im not saying ziegler aint cold he can ball…right but theres now way Maurice shouldnt be ahead of him on that list of top freshmen

Watch out for Cameron Clark, i think he was # 39 on the list. Anyways, he is 6’6 180 with a killer crossover and a great midrange game and is a freak athlete. Wont be a one and done guy, but watch out for him
