losnopesosParticipantJames only wants to play for his buddies and Williams refused to listen to a HOFer. James wanted to tank the only coach he’ll ever with a title with. Jerry Sloan was a beast and the Jazz fired Sloan to appease an overweight and quickly diminishing Deron Williams who’s been on a race to the bottom of his talent ever since.
Can anyone recall when having a player killing a coach ended up being a good thing?

Robb_CParticipantYour kidding right?? You really think Deron Williams made the front office get rid Sloan??
Dude Ive followed Sloans Career, The Jazz wanted to move in a different direction.. Deron Williams tslked about it and the media pinned it on him.. Seriously you really buy that Deron Williams had enough say to dictate over Sloan? Whos been with the franchise for years?
Jazz Front office wanted to move in a seperate direction.. Williams helped influence the decision, trust me if Deron did that and the front office respected Sloan this situation would have been dealt with under the rug… This is how the NBA operates through the media

Dazzling Dunks and Basketball BloopersParticipantWhether it was warranted or not, magic Johnson was criticized for getting paul westhead fired in 1981 in favor of pat riley and it worked out just fine for the Lakers who won 4 titles under Riley.

losnopesosParticipantI was thinking Boogie/Kings debacle with their carousel of coaches, but they need to make the playoffs before I can go down that road.

negguaryParticipantkarl did it to hisself. He insisted on trading the best big man in the league instead of figuring it out.

JordoParticipantOff of the top of my head Magic Johnson claimed his first coach was trying to shut down showtime and that didn’t go so well for Paul Westhead.

NJHooper95ParticipantThe Utah situation was crazy because Jerry Sloan coached Stockston and they allowed Deron Williams to run him off only to then trade Deron. Lebron, well, is just the ultimate DIVA. He wants his way, he wants everyone to know he is the leader, he is just simply spoiled and his not all his fault, the media is responsible as well. However, Lebron is grown and he need to just respect his coaches even if he doesn’t like or agree with them.

ZachAttackParticipantUhh… ok first of all, the Jazz didn’t fire Sloan. He resigned. Get your facts straight on that. Though Deron drove him off the edge or retirement he didn’t get him fired. Deron got traded after because they were sick of how little of a team player he was. He threw the ball at Gordon Hayward in a game and hit him in the head. That just shows how much of a cancer he was of that team. After that, Jerry Sloan resigned and the Deron Williams era was gone in Utah. But… do you really think that a player like Deron Williams would make the Jazz fire Sloan? He was one of the greatest arguably THE greatest coach in NBA history. And one player wouldn’t cause a franchise to fire the coach.

IndianaBasketballParticipantI was watching the game when Deron "d*ck head" Williams threw the ball at Gordon Hayward and I’ve hated Williams ever since.

ExumInfernoParticipantDeron is worse than LeBron.
Also, James could go back to Cleveland, even at vet minimum pay Williams didn’t have Utah wanting him back.
