    In my opinion,

the Clippers will be better than the Lakers in 3 years.
Kobe wil get old, and Fisher will be retired. Even though Bynum will be good, he will not be as great as our Blake Griffin. Plus, we have Eric Gordon, Al Thorton, and Chris Kaman.

And we will be the sole owner of Staples Center cuz we are goin’ to be so good, and Lakers GM’s will be forced to wear our jersies….

this isn’t too dumb. They do have a future with their number 1 pick, E.G, Thorton, and Mike Taylor who played solid last season. DeAndre Jordan as well. Fisher won’t be there anymore, Kobe will probably be in his last year of dominating. Bynum won’t be anything great just a double double center.

this sounds reasonable in theory…but we all know that the Clippers screw things up in ways we never thought possible. until the owner & head coach are gone, i cant see them being very successful. especially that owner. sometimes i think he wants to lose…

By far the most dedicated and hardcore Clipper fan I have ever seen!! and I completely agree 100% the Lakers are definitely on the decline and the Clippers are about to make their rise and take over LA.

    LETS GO BLAKE GRIFFIN!!!

what does history tell u8s about the clippers…on paper youre gonna look great and future this and that but history has taught us that the clippers find a way to screw it up.either a bad trade or a player decides to leave blah blah blah..ive heard this same comment when d miles odom Q rich and the others were there and as history has told us they lakers some how some way will reload and the clippers will continue to be the step child..personally i wise things would change and the clippers decide to join the nba instead of being a d leauge team but im just not confident just yet if the oganization will change that

I feel sorry for you B. You went to an organization that does not do all it can to win. Best wishes. Work on your game, wait for that contract to end, then jump ship. We will take you in Boston when your done.

pretty much sums up this thread. The Lakers will always be able to bring top free-agents. In three years , Bynum will be a all-star and Ariza and Farmar will be solid starters. Kobe, Pau, and Odom(if they keep Odom) will all still be in their early 30’s. Not even Griffin can save that sorry franchise. It was’nt long ago that guys like Brand, Maggette, and Livingston were supposed to be the pieces that would shift the tides in Los Angeles, and we all saw how well that worked out.

This thread may be interesting in thought but Clippers will not top Lakers anytime soon. People forget that Jordan played pretty well into his mid 30’s and can back in his late 30s and did some things. Kobe has a lot of years left in him to dominate. I mean as blessed as Lebron is there is still a debate with him and Kobe. Gasol uses skill so much that as a big he will have a long career too and Bynum is just warming up and if he can stay healthy can be a top 3 big man.

Am I the only one who notices how awful of an organization the L.A. Clippers really are? Screw the talent, the Clippers won’t hold onto most of the guys now, Dunleavy is a terrible coach, and they just have an awful culture. They don’t make moves to win, they make moves to manipulate their payroll (like acquiring Zach Randolph). The problem with the Clippers isn’t talented players, never has been, its their culture. Think about it, this is the same team that had Darius Miles, Lamar Odom, Quentin Richardson, Corey Maggette, and a healthy Elton Brand. And they were marginal at best.

I honestly feel bad for Blake Griffin. I hope the Clippers either get it together, or Blake Griffin gets to be with a better organization because there’s only so far as a Clipper.

the Clippers pathetic history, it makes me laugh at Elgin Baylor who tried suing the team for discrimination when he quit after 20+ years of having a job despite pathetic results. He actually complained that he did’nt get a raise when they made the playoffs a couple years ago. He is too funny.

wow laker fans, ur cool. U dis the clippers bcuz u are nervous that ur team won’t win the championship so u try to dis other teams. wow. if everything in sports was about history, then why the hell would games be played. might as well have the lakers play the celtics in the finals every year because “history” teaches us that their the two most successful franchises in NBA history. No one thought the rays would get out of the toilet hole of baseball with in the decade. Guess what? they made it to the world series and over took the teams that overshadowed them in the AL East. Now the Blue Jays are doing the same to those teams. It happens. Its sports, not math! Why is everyone out to get the clippers? it seems like all sports fans hate the clippers for their bad history yet in all other sports when a team has a crappy history people root for them to get out of it. Even after the falcons had the michael vick thing, when they recooperated everyone was back on their bandwagon. How come u all dis the clippers when they finally have something go their way? THE CLIPPERS CURSE IS OVER! U want proof: the clippers did not just win the lottery once, they actually won it right after but due to the rules the balls were placed back in the machine for the other teams to get the 2nd and 3rd. So they really won the #1 and #2. Thats a sign if anything is a sign.

maybe because instead of clipper fans saying..we will be a lil better and work towards respectability you say Kobe wil get old, and Fisher will be retired. Even though Bynum will be good, he will not be as great as our Blake Griffin. Plus, we have Eric Gordon, Al Thorton, and Chris Kaman.

And we will be the sole owner of Staples Center cuz we are goin’ to be so good, and Lakers GM’s will be forced to wear our jersies….

how about the clippers get there first before saying ya’ll gonna do this or that or before you start saying laker “gm will be wearing our jerseys” .so basically you start it with writing off the lakers and pumping up the clippers before they prove anything…plus clipper history is a tad diffrent from other teams..most teams that are bad have go through times when they are good…clippers are rarely good..

As a third party (Utah fan), I can comfortably tell you that the Clippers have no chance of surpassing the Lakers until Kobe has retired.

That being said there is finally some hope for Clipper fans. Eric Gordon and Blake Griffen are good players with good attitudes. Donald Sterling and Mike Dunleavy just need to go.
