    Clippers get: Eric Bledsoe
Grizzlies get: Patrick Beverley, Rajon Rondo, Daniel Oturu

Man, puzzling move for the Clippers. I get they need a PG but I don’t know if Bledsoe is that guy. Well, they do have Reggie, Terance and Luke though so who knows. Grizzlies gets to clear that contract and Beverley fits the Grizzlies culture, the question now is whether or not they keep them. Oturu really was playing summer league hours before this trade lol.

It’s funny that the Clippers have completely moved on from the core group that was thought to be instrumental in recruiting Kawhi Leonard. Lou Williams, Montrezl Harrell, Pat Beverley all gone. I still believe the reason Kawhi went to the Clippers was not basketball related. When he made a deal with New Balance he was still with San Antonio and was getting out of his Nike contract and actually had a lawsuit with Nike, I think it was over copyrights for a design he made. My guess is that when he made his New Balance deal he promised them he would play in LA. Tons of side deals made for his uncle as well. Kawhi gets all this love for being strictly about winning, team guy who isn’t a premadonna superstar but that dude sold out more than anyone and left two great franchises high and dry to suck the life out of LA.

Lol. Pat Beverley is the most Memphis Grizzlies grindhouse type of player you can find.

Oh My LAWD! I need a Bartender right now! Some1 to Stop Me! My Favorite player to HATE is NOW on my 2nd Favorite Team! 🆘 Beverley defense is overrated, he’s more of an Agitator than Great defender. All 3 acquired players r on expiring deals. With those deals expiring Grizzlies will have 22 million. But I 🤔 Rondo gets waived .Daniel O has some upside, didn’t get much playing time with Clippers. Memphis has a history of giving players opportunities. Their Frontline is crowded. I expect more movement before the start of the season.

The Nets did the same thing with their core that made franchise look competent. They are dreaming big. Also, the Clippers have zero incentive to take their foot off the pedal. Their pick goes to OKC. At least, they have a team that will be around the play-in spots. I don’t think a rotation with Bledsoe-Mann-George-Morris-Ibaka-Zubac-Batum-Kennard-Jackson is that bad. Jay Scrubb and Justise Winslow are also names to consider with it being an older roster that will likely have rest days. If Mann can take a step forward after his strong finish, and they better incorporate Kennard, it is a group that could be more than solid in the regular season.

The Clippers are likely to be all in over the next few years with Kawhi and PG13. They just need to be sure they don’t have overpaid support players on contract too long if and when the main duo move on. That way they will have options which way to take the team in a few years time either rebuild via FA or the draft.

Bledsoe is a sound pick up for them going forward over the next season or so.

Any insight as to what the Grizzlies are doing? It’s like they are just making trades for the sake of making trades lol. They have sooo many young players to develop now. Its hard to keep track. Melton, Bane, Aldama, Ziare, Culver, Clarke, Tillman, Oturo, Tyus Jones, Sam Merrill, Killian Tillie.

    Whats the plan here?

Last season you were allowed 17 players on your roster. I’m not sure if they went back to 15 for this season or not. Hield would be a good fit, he’s a good fit for any team tbh.

It is 15 NBA contracts and 2 two ways which is what it has been so yes 17 if you count the two way guys.

They have well over 20 players on the roster so I figure that some of the roster has to go.
Their starting five will likely be Marant, Brooks, Anderson, JJJ, Adams with Melton, Williams, Clarke, Tillman, Bane, Rondo as the main bench as Beverley is injured at the moment with the other guys filling the end of the bench.

I agree with your starting lineup, but I think bench is Tillman, Clarke, Bane, Melton with Rondo getting limited minutes in rotation as well.
