ZouldiersParticipantThis matchup has the potential to be a 7 game series and one of my favorite matchup this year. I expect this series to be close throughout. Let’s see what the Jazz are made of against the Clippers.

Ahkasi ClayParticipantOh No! He might be the most valuable Jazz player. Hope Favors can step up but he has not been the same since his injury.

Robb_CParticipantQuin Synder deserves a couple COTY votes.. Synder once used a play a pizza delivery guy drew on the pizza box in game.

IknoBall12Participantserious question: if doc rivers loses this series Isn’t it seriously time for him to go? I mean he was brought in to replace Vinny del negro. Is he not basically having the same results?

OhCanada-ParticipantIf they lose hes not the only guy that needs to go. This team looks defeated when they play the elite teams but the Clippers are scared of the unknown. Dont forget this is the LA Clippers we are talking about. You know, the other LA team. The franchise with the least success in American major sports. They would rather lose in the playoffs every year with marketable players then go through another 50 year rebuild lol.

DolanCareParticipantFavors can barely move at the end of the fourth. It may be Withey-Time for the rest of this series.

ZouldiersParticipantIso Joe with the buzzer. Jazz lead series 1-0 but losing Gobert may be lot tougher for the Jazz to win but we’ll see.

SwatLakeCityParticipantThe Jazz belong in the playoffs. Get used to it. They are ready and using this as a "I’ll show you" type of thing. Gobert will come back later in this series. There was no significant damage to his leg. I don’t know if he’ll play in game 2 but he should be there by game 5 or 6.
This will be a 6-7 game series. The Jazz have shown they can play well without Gobert. The jazz have won games throughout the entire season without key players. (They won 51 games with an injury ridden season!). They have done so on the fly. They can do it in the playoffs. This shows the real genious of Quin Snyder.
I don’t know if the Clippers belong in the playoffs. I think they do if they can get everybody on the same page. Paul definitely belongs here, and so does JJ Redick and Deandre Jordan, and Mbah a Moute, but I don’t think Blake Griffin belongs here. I don’t think he gets that either. This series will hinge on him. Can the Jazz adjust to his game and find someone or the players to stop him? Does he realize that this is Paul’s team, that he’s is merely a piece to this team just as Jordan, Redick, and Crawford are?
Get used to the Jazz being in the playoffs. Especially if Hayward stays which I think he will. They could be a serious contender for the Spurs, Warriors, and even the Rockets!!!
