RObin PadillaParticipantClippers played uptempo tonight which is what they needed. i noticed when baron davis is not playing eric gordon puts the team in his shoulders and is more aggressive.. clearly this doesnt happen when baron is playing because hes initiating the offense and holding the ball too long.. to me this is eric gordon’s team not davis.. gordon should act that way on and off the court… cuz davis is all talk no walk..

Mr. 19134ParticipantI agree completely the word on the street was that in training camp Gordon was more vocal and took it upon himself to be a leader after his success in Turkey. This is a great sign because Gordon is a superstar and should start to act this way. He was one of the rarest combinations of world class athleticism and world class shorting ability I have ever seen in a guard.

LazarusMunozParticipantHe’s using that modified Eurostep that DWade uses. He’s been almost unstopable going to the rim this year either scoring or finding an open man for an open shot…I remember people use to compare alot to Ray Allen or Rip Hamilton his first two years, but each game he looks more and more like DWade
Also coach Del Negro has been putting the ball in his hands alot more the last two games and you can really see its helped his confidence alot,he’s more active in getting rebounds and assists
But i think the biggest change, and i think this can be attributed to playing on Team USA,is he’s embraced taking on a leadership role on this team and he’s really devoloped a swagger to his game
Once his three ball starts falling again he’s gonna be almost unguardable

IndianaBasketballParticipantI’m not surprised by anything EJ is doing. As I’ve been saying since his rookie season, it’s just a matter of time. He’s a lot better than people seem to understand, but they’re about to find out.
This is year three and he’s gotten more comfortable. He’s more experienced and confident. Making and playing for Team USA was just what the doctor ordered. The time to take a backseat to veterans is over.

omphalosParticipantAm I the only one who thinks the Clippers are playing better with Bledsoe than they did with Davis? As has been said, Gordon is stepping up, Bledsoe is hustling real hard so he stays in the rotation, and it just seems wise to invest in a young team by cutting BD loose.
