fastforward322ParticipantIt really amazes me how bitter and just plain immature the Cleveland fans are. I mean they have every right to be mad about the "Decision" but all this LeBron hate has gone a bit far. I like LeBron as a player not as a person, he’s made a bunch of poor decisions the past few months and he’s human but I mean Cleveland really needs to face it, he’s gone and no matter how much you blast him its not gonna take away what they’re feeling. LeBron has had nothing bad to say about the city of Cleveland and I think they should respect that and appreciate him making their team relevant.

ZeroParticipantThe fans are not immature for booing and hating him. Being immature is going on national television to tell people which team you’re going to. The Cleveland fans have a perfect reason to be bitter and they can do it for as long as they want. Hell, look at Toronto.

Soulrebel15ParticipantPeople need to stop faking jacks about the Decision. Because when the ESPN was running ads what two days before, I did not hear one… not one person criticize on why he having an one hour Decision. If anything people were moist with anticipation. Just man up as say you’re mad if your a Cleveland fan that he left, or your mad he did not bring his talents to you city. I’m tired of people blaming the Decision call it for what it is. By the way I an not a Heat fan.

Im Your FatherParticipantThe decision was stupid no doubt…but I can almost guarantee that Cleveland fans would have reacted in almost exactly the same way even if he hadn’t announced on a one hour special.

blink3ebfanParticipantThe one sign on the front page of ESPN took the hatred to another level, Like Father Like Son. This sign obviously eludes to the fact that LeBrons father also left which is just taking it to a level that it should not be taken. Philadelphia fans take the brunt of criticism for being bad fans but Cleveland fans are the worst, most ignorant fans there are in sports. They have no distinction of the difference between sports and real life. Its a shame.

sheltwon3Participantfans are being immature. If you can’t deal with your emotional on a level to where you can be a decent and sensible human being than you lack maturity. There are bigger problems than Lebron leaving even though I am sure Cleveland lost millions because he brought them million when he was drafted and now he is gone. They way he did what he did show a little immaturity but it was also business. If you can’t seperate business from emotions you need to grow up. I think immaturity needs to be defined because Lebron did one immature act but Cleveland is continuing to act immature about it and most fans are older than Lebron so what is their excuse.

sheltwon3ParticipantI think Lebron is arrogant and maybe if I met him i would think he was a jerk but still that does not deserve this everlasting hate from that city. I know a lot of cool people from Cleveland but these so called hater make Cleveland look bad. If girls in Cleveland stay as mad as these fans for that long I would never think about dating any of them.

IndianaBasketballParticipant"I’ll just continue the greatness for myself in Miami."
Another classic LeBron quote.
This was a terrible game. It honestly had no business being on national television. It was nationally televised for all of the wrong reasons. Somebody should smack Boobie Gibson and take Keyshia Cole from him. The Cavs didn’t meet the energy of their fans, which was sad.

PureshooterParticipantThey were chanting "Scottie Pippen" to point out that he is just second fiddle to Wade, much like Pippen was second to Jordan. That isn’t really my opinion, but it was pretty funny.
I think that game pointed out exactly why Lebron left Cleveland: They never surrounded him with a championship caliber supporting cast. It’s also why he deferred so much in the Celtics series last year. He was tired of being the sole option against such a well balanced team like Boston. You just can’t win like that. Name the last championship team that had second and third scoring options as bad as Mo Williams and Jamison.
I’m definitely not a big Lebron fan. He’s an egotistical jackass. But the fact is that he’s on the way to becoming a billionaire and could be the best basketball player on the planet. In the Cavaliers/Lebron relationship he had all the leverage and they never gave him a reason to stay. It reminds me of a few employers I’ve had that would underpay me and then pull the loyalty/friend card when I told them I was leaving. Lebron wasn’t underpaid financially, but he was undersupported on the court.
