TarHeelRavenParticipantright now is the Syracuse Orangemen. They harassed UNC with their 2-3 and absolutely destroyed them on the offensive boards for a convincing 57-45 victory. They are a very very good team and one of the top teams in the country along with Arizona in my opinion. Duke lost their second road game of the season at Clemson. The Devils were absolutely manhandled on the boards and when Clemson drove, they met very little resistance at the rim. Duke could not buy a three point bucket and shot a horrific 8-32 in the second half, almost all of those being jump shots. I can’t remember a time when both Duke and UNC were 0-3 and 1-2 respectively after 3 conference games. The game against Duke February 1st at the Carrier Dime is HUGE and I saw that they had already printed shirts for the game. There is still a lot of basketball to be played and Duke and UNC might turn things around, but for now, the Cuse is the class of the ACC…

Ghost01ParticipantWhile I can’t disagree with you, facts are, college basketball like most sports is a season of highs and lows. Sometimes you see truly elite teams, but a month or two from now there are some teams that are scuffling that are going to find their stride, and some of the undefeated and one loss teams are going to be floundering.

Memphis MadnessParticipantIf you include Memphis as a current/former Big East team (we basically joined before it blew up), the BIG EAST is LOADED with talent.
Syracuse at 2, Villanova at 6, Memphis at 17, Louisville at 18, Cincy at 19, Creighton at 20, and Pitt at 22.
I thought the ACC would be better than it is right now. UNC is struggling, and if it weren’t for Syracuse this would be a very average conference. The SEC is better with Florida and Kentucky both in the top 15.

MkadozaParticipantBoth ACC freshmen, Pitt and Cuse are the class of the conference. Pitt is still 15-1, with only a one point, defensive, ugly slugfest of a loss against Cincinatti.
