festar35ParticipantThis kinda crosses off of basketball a bit, but I was thinking of young NBA players on the rise and noticed that there was similar guys in NFL.
So what city/area has best future?
Indiana – Paul George and Andrew Luck
Washington – John Wall and Robert Griffin III
GSW/San Francisco – Stephen Curry and Colin Kaepernick (Warriors making the move soon)
Portland/Seattle – Damian Lillard and Russell Wilson (Only one team in each area)
Philadelphia (Surprise package) – Michael Carter-Williams and Nick Folkes
On side note, Knicks and Giants struggling with there superstars in Anthony and Manning as well as Nets and Jets.

wrectorParticipantYou mention that the NY teams are struggling, but you think Washington is doing better?
I’d take Portland/Seattle though.

ItsVictorOladipoParticipantSeems a bit weird to put Portland and Seattle together, they’re about as far apart as OKC and Dallas. Orlando and Tampa Bay are about an hour closer to each other.
The Magic obviously have a bright future with Oladipo, Vucevic, Harkless, Harris, Nicholson and probably a high pick in the already celebrated class of 2014. The Bucs have been terrible this year but have some nice young pieces in place that have been banged up this year. On D Gerald McCoy, Adrian Clayborn, Mason Foster, Lavonte David, Jonathan Banks and Mark Barron are all 25 or under and Revis has been in the league a while but is still only 28. On offense, Doug Martin is a 24 year old stud, Mike Glennon might be the QB of the future and TB should end up with a top 5 or even top 2 pick this year (JaDeveon Clowney could make that front seven a force).
Surprised Charlotte doesn’t at least get a mention. Panthers have Newton and a terrific young front seven led by Luke Kuechly. Bobcats have a few nice pieces and are starting to show flashes.
I guess the Detroit Lions don’t count as that young anymore (Megatron is 28) but Stafford and Suh are just 25 and 26. And the Pistons have a bright future with Monroe and Drummond.

Sharp ShooterParticipantNo Detroit? Especially with the Tigers winning (despite poor postseason), Lions with Suh, and Reggie, Red Wings…and the up and coming pistons…and potentially moving the palace downtown detroit, where all the action is?! Seem like they have a bright future!
