diehardnr1ParticipantHe’s Nigerian and hand picked by Masai Ujiri…so fitting he went to Denver. I kinda like Ujiri’s eye for talent and trade advantages…will be fun to see how this raw talent pans out… Masai already gets an A from me for Faried and Hamilton/’DreMiller in this draft…so I’ll give him a trade for a "pet pick"

ghrghrParticipantActually, he commited a single turnover in his entire D-League career, so he should have some pretty great handles. He also averaged more blocks than points. How many people are able to say that?

BallinlikeMJ23ParticipantI think he averaged a triple single
1 point per game 1 assist per game 1 rebound per game
He’s a well rounded player

Winning_TimeParticipantI was happy with Goudelock but really, I sorta wanted Dallas Lauderdale and we literally just waste a pick on him.

This may be his facebook page. I don’t think there are that many guys with the same name. And he’s actually called Arthur and he likes Harry Potter.

ghettosermonParticipantI actually came across his name 2 months ago and have tried furiously to see film of him to no avail. I do know though that he goes by Chu Chu and I trust the Lakers know a lot about him because he played at Bakersfield who is their D-league affiliate and they sent Ebanks and Character during the season.

llperezon one hand i do not pretend to know everything about guys who can be late second round picks so i trust the lakers. Plus with devin ebanks and derrick caracter still being last years second rounders along with 4 second rounders this year, odds are some of these dont even make the roster so im not triping about these unheard of cats.
Now…….who the hell is chukuwidebere maduabum and the why the heck did the lakers draft him??????????????????

Memphis MadnessParticipantManute Bol averaged more blocks than points but I don’t think that this guy is the next Manute.
Strange pick. Diebler, Hansbrough, and Matt Howard would have been better picks.

diehardnr1ParticipantChukwudiebere Maduabum (Chu Chu) pronounced: Chuck wood-eye very Mad You a Bum…. (I think) Gotta be the best name in the draft…by far
Apparently Uriji likes this guy…maybe he has a scout in Africa that discovered an unknown "natural"…like in that movie. He gets discovered, Scout goes there, they save the village, he goes to the NBA… About the same kinda time line for ChuChu…out of nowhere (Nigeria actually)…thrown in a couple of D league games and taken in draft by the Lakers…who obliged Masai’s desire to have him a Mile High. I hope it has the same ending as the movie…
Looks like Denver FO is building a gritty, defensive minded team (finally)… I like the quality of the players they took in the first round and see them being very tough in the West if they keep Nene and stat Mozy at C. Scary bigs depth with players that can play multiple positions.
Go ChuChu and GO NUGGETS!!!
