I think Chris McCullough from Syracuse University needs to be in the discussion as a lottery pick in the 2015 draft. Last time he was measured at USA BASKETBALL in the Fall of 2013 he came in at 6’9 with a 7’3 wingspan. He is an Elite athlete.Runs the floor like a guard and jumps effortlessly. He is a rim protector and he also can step out to the 3 point line and knock it down. In the Mid range area he can really shoot it. Of course he has weaknesses. His strength and ability to finish through contact being the main one, but I just think his upside is outstanding and he has to be in consideration to be a 2015 lottery pick selection.

He’s been the lone bright spot on an anemic Syracuse offense (with the exception of Rak for the most part).

he has physical talent and face up potential, but there are also red flags all over the place with him given his multiple stops in HS. doesn’t appear to be the brightest bulb.

He will absolutely enter the draft this year.  He barely even qualified to play at Syracuse… if he gets a 1st round promise, he’s gone, and it appears that his stock is soaring (Chad Ford recently said he spoke with a lot of scouts and almost 100% of them agreed that McCullough is a lottery pick if he keeps it up).

As MeloSwag said, he and Christmas have been the lone bright spots of the offense.  McCullough will get killed at the next level if he doesn’t bulk up (I think he weighs around 180 right now), but he has a lot of upside.

he’s gonna fool someone if he comes out. i foresee him having an anthony randolph type career trajectory. his stock could be high at the end of the season, but i think that’ll be tempered once gms start to do their homework on him and interview him.
