Never heard of him until then but one things for sure it really showed me that drug abuse and alcohol abuse can really fukc with ya mind and get you to a point where you cant function without it.

I’m happy he told his story uncut raw and helps kids not make the same mistakes as him. I watched it twice because you usually miss stuff and I’ll watch it again as that was the best documentary on ESPN I’ve ever seen

I thought it was a very good documentary. I think his career could have been different if he just had someone to mentor him on the Celtics. Remember him saying that when he was in his first year with the Nuggets that he had Antonio McDyess and I forget the other player mentoring him. They kept tabs on him throughout the entire season and he said that he was the healtheast he ever was that year. I know he couldn’t be babied his entire career, but I think it could have turned out different.

Also, did you see that guy with the tattoos on his face that was at one of the speeches he was giving? He scared the hell out of me.

I remember him as a fresno state magic guard… I think he was playing with rafer alston there under tarkanian.

He was supposed to be a jason williams clone.

I didn’t watch the documentary you’re talking about (I live in france) but heard about several weeks ago.

I hope I could get him in the web one  day

Herren was exciting to watch..But he played at 1 Speed and that was GO!! Maybe if he had learned to pace himself..His career might’ve lasted longer…

I am pretty sure the drug addictions had a lot more to do with his career being shortened than his pace of play.

    Great documentary though.
