IndianaBasketballParticipantWow… Bosh and Calderon to the Heat for Chalmers, two future first round picks (that won’t be very high) and a large trade exception?
I guess it was true that Bosh prefered to play with Wade over LeBron all along.

mini_marzParticipantgood trade… got rid of calderon’s contract as well…. would love to have had beasley as well….. but i guess the raptors are just gonna shed salary and rebuild… o well chalmers is a decent pg… guess we gonna try and get harrison barnes lol

stanford hoopsNice for the heat. Get to keep beasy plus a ok pg. And have enough money to get another starter and sum bench players

mini_marzParticipanti was being sarcastic when i said good trade… but at the sametime i knew riley would work some magic…

IndianaBasketballParticipantToronto convincing the Heat to take Calderon is HUGE… That saves them almost $30 million over the next four years… Around $8 million off of their books ASAP.
0 - Posted on: Tue, 07/06/2010 - 1:31pm #347729

butidonthavemoneyGood move for both teams.

0 - Posted on: Tue, 07/06/2010 - 1:33pm #347731

JNixonParticipantHeat did themselves good on this one. REEEALLLL good. I wonder did they draw their guns or just bark orders when they ROBBED Toronto.
0 - Posted on: Tue, 07/06/2010 - 1:34pm #347732

DWadeBIWParticipantwow good move for heat

Bargnani or Davis – Johnson
Hedo – Weems
Derozen – Belineli
Jack – Chalmers0 - Posted on: Tue, 07/06/2010 - 1:39pm #347735
Stojakovicfor3ParticipantYeah I just saw that. I don”t know why they would post it if they weren’t sure about it.
0- Posted on: Tue, 07/06/2010 - 1:41pm #347737

knicks82ParticipantRic Bucher just said it was a hypothetical that it was something Toronto could do.

kanyedabestParticipantregardless why is colangelo so god damn stupid like beasley has to be included in this deal…
0 - Posted on: Tue, 07/06/2010 - 1:43pm #347740
goneParticipantIf this really goes thru that solves 2 problems the heat had
1. A a solid pg even thou calderon is gonna get torched on D
2. Forces dwade to resignI think this would be a big win for the heat if they could keep beasley resign Haslem n Q-Rich bring in a eddie house or shaun livingston and cop a good post defender like Haywood Chandler or Jermaine O’neal

Mr.Knick 32ParticipantSo Miami stole Chris Bosh for some picks in the 20’s and Tissue paper?
Wow.
0 - Posted on: Tue, 07/06/2010 - 1:46pm #347744

butidonthavemoneyMiami didn’t get Bosh.
0 - Posted on: Tue, 07/06/2010 - 1:49pm #347748
stanford hoopsOk seems this deal is just proposed. I was watching espn and didn’t see it come across the bottom of the screen so I doubt that it happened

mwardiaParticipantwow man, great trade bait 4 da heat 😀
0 - Posted on: Tue, 07/06/2010 - 1:51pm #347752

WrecklessParticipantAo is it real or fake? And does this mean LBJ + boozer to NJ maybe?
0 - Posted on: Tue, 07/06/2010 - 1:52pm #347754

Mr.Knick 32ParticipantWow, I got negative 2 off a joke.
Anyway, I think the Raptors just agreed to move him IF he decided Miami was his choice.
0- Posted on: Tue, 07/06/2010 - 1:55pm #347758

knicks82ParticipantTwitter brevity raises its dangerous head once again. There is no trade between Mia + Tor. Sorry for any confusion/raised blood pressure.

PlatypusParticipantWho proposed the deal? Mia or Tor?
0- Posted on: Tue, 07/06/2010 - 2:07pm #347767

knicks82Participantnobody proposed the deal…Ric Bucher made it up. The way he worded made it seem like it was a done deal.

ZeroParticipantThis IMO is very good for the Raptors too. We get a young PG who can get lots of minutes here in Toronto, and get rid of Calderon’s nasty contract. This is definitely better than getting nothing that might have happened.
0 - Posted on: Tue, 07/06/2010 - 2:41pm #347789

TRC1991Participantofcourse ric bucher stirs up trouble, he was the one who forced media attention onto the dallas cowboys situation between t.o/jason witten/romo a few years back where t.o. was supposedly mad at romo for throwing to witten over him…bucher is a dirty dog!
0 - Posted on: Tue, 07/06/2010 - 2:47pm #347793
PaulsJayhawksParticipantI know its a rumor but I don’t hate it for either team. Raps “mo” has always been bad defense. They get a sold defensive guard, lose maybe the worst defensive guard9ever since his hamstring injury) and who knows how big the tpe was plus I assume they get their pick back and another. Miami would keep Beasley to move as a piece to pick up a center(haywood maybe) so for them its great. I think the Raps will bite and take Beasley back though to use or trade when its all said and done.
0 - Posted on: Tue, 07/06/2010 - 2:52pm #347797
B-ball fanParticipantGood deal for both sides. Toronto dumps salary, gets a nice pg and draft picks. They can get younger and start from scratch. In the short term, Toronto would be terrible, but they could get a good player in draft, Barnes if they are lucky. Miami gets a star to play with Wade and could win immediately. Calderon is an excellent passer, better offensively than Chalmers, but worse defensively.

bkb77ParticipantNow What for Lebron? Does he stay with Cavs or Go to the Knicks
0 - Posted on: Tue, 07/06/2010 - 3:46pm #347824
KevinDurantRocksParticipantAnd saw this trade go down i would immediately sign with Bulls only chance of competing against Heat
0 - Posted on: Tue, 07/06/2010 - 3:59pm #347834

Toronto16ParticipantRic Bucher reported that this wasn’t true….
