OhCanada-ParticipantBosh played here his whole career, was a part of the community, face of the franchise, and he was quoted saying its about being on TV. He did us wrong, led us to believe he might stay. People flipped out because Vince didnt play at 100% effort level after coming back from careeraltering injuries, (what was he supposed to be diving for loose balls like JYD)? If people still boo Carter to this day, trust me when I say Chris Posh will get booed. Soft as* Mutherclucking, fake tough guy, KG wannabee as* punk!

OhCanada-ParticipantNot really but it salvages the season lool. To be honest Im kinda glad he is gone, I wish we got more for him at the same time its better we let him walk then re-sign him. He is too soft to be a 1st option and in our system thats what he was. next we gotta regulate Bargnani to a 2nd or 3rd option at PF make Calderon a backup to a superior talent, and get a real C. I wonder what we can get for the Trade exception..Maybe Kaman, Nene, who knows Okur may even become available the way Utah is playing without Sloan.

Stanford hoops1Why exactly is he getting Booed again?..Wasnt he a free agent and it was known he was gonna leave?..Do they boo the owners when they trade a player who wants to stay?

OhCanada-ParticipantCome on you have to be kidding me Stanford. he knew from day-1 he was teaming up with Wade and was just waiting to see if they were going to Chicago or if Lebron would join them in Miami. Toronto was never a destination and made it seem like a favourite the way his parents were talking and his family members. He completly abused twitter and put the Raptors Organization on full blast by making that retarded DVD. Dont you remember him saying he wanted to be the man, that was all garbage, complete bullshi. I mean Im even glad hes gone but he left like a prick, he shouldve asked for a trade in the mid-way point of the season so the organization that drafted him, trained him, and turned him into what he is today could get some value back for his services, instead we got completly screwed over.

Stanford hoops1No different then what Toranto and other clubs do when they don’t tell a player he is getting traded and the player has to find out through ESPN. Or when they cut a player after giving them such false hope or low balling a player with a low deal. Its all business and if a team doesn’t want a player to leave they should start drafting better players or trading for better players so they can win instead of being a bottom feeder team. No one cares when teams treat it as a business but when players do it theres a big problem

torontoraptors10ParticipantDidn’t Bosh diss Toronto because we didn’t have some T.V channel or something like that….? And T-Mac even admitted that Bosh sold out Toronto. We have had three franchise players leave us already, we need one that can stick around wait till things get better.

mikeyvthedonParticipantI live in Toronto now, and did for the first 18 years of my life. But, even I know that if Chris Bosh was pissed off because the Canadian IFC does not show Portlandia, HE HAS A COMPLETELY LEGITIMATE CLAIM!!!! Now, besides that, Rogers sucks and while Comcast can be incredibly annoying in ways as well, the On-Demand and College Basketball gotten in the States, along with the complete lack of Adult Swim in Canada, is enough to drive any person mad. Once you have lived with it dudes, you will know the hurt Chris Bosh has probably felt.
That being said, I kind of go with Quincey on the whole, "if people knew he was leaving, than why didn’t they trade him or care about it before hand" thing. Raptors fans, you knew their was a great possibility he would leave. How did he screw you over? He kept his options open, but would you stay if you were from Texas, went to school in Georgia and came to Toronto? What if for 41 home games, you had to pay ridiculously higher taxes than you would anywhere else, in particular Miami? Toronto people, I know you think this city is the bees knees, but things do exist outside of here. Chris Bosh never hated on Toronto, and T-Mac if anything did the EXACT same thing Chris Bosh did, except he had more reason to play here because the team had a base. It sucks, but it is hard to build a good team in Toronto in any sport. Ask the Leafs and Jays, they won chips, but that was when Newton was figuring out gravity. Yes, it is easy to boo him and say you do not need him or want him, but do you really think Andrea Bargnani is the better player? Stop it!

torontoraptors10ParticipantWhat you said is completely true, 100% correct. For that I give you + 1 but please do not ruin the fun lol!
But it does get tiring though when you lose FOUR franchise players. I mean what other franchise has that many franchise players in the past 15 years?

Tongue-Out-Like-23ParticipantYeah I gotta agree with it. It’s a business. If he feels another job is better, he has every right to go get it. He played hard for the years that were on his contract. You can’t say Bosh didn’t play hard. No matter how much you dislike him, you know he played hard all 7 years in TDot. He honored his contract, he played ball hard game in and game out. It’s not his fault the organization could never put a competitive team around him. He played his contract and played hard.

McDunkinhttp://www.torontosun.com/sports/basketball/2011/02/16/17306671.html
For the most part, Chris Bosh stayed away from slinging any mud himself in his Toronto return, but he did make an exception when he was asked about his relationship with Raptors head coach Jay Triano.
“I tried to shake his hand before the game the first time we played in Miami,” Bosh said. “I guess he really didn’t want to talk before the game. I was just trying to say hello, but if he’s not feeling it, it’s all good.”
Bosh was then asked if that surprised him.
“Yeah, it surprised me,” Bosh said . “At the end of the day, this is a game. This is business for us, but it’s a game. You spend a significant amount of time with somebody, you just want to say: ‘Hey, how you doin? How’s the family?’ I wasn’t looking to have a candid conversation before the game.”
