d-grizzlyParticipantwhat if he went to la?? if i remember right, he is an unrestricted free agent. i don’t know the cap situation in la…but i’m sure if anderson wanted a ring..this is going to be a big decision this summer.

auberParticipantI don’t see it happening at least with lamar odom on the roster. I like him a lot and am dying to see if he can start in this league even to the tune of 8-10-4.

Stanford hoopsParticipanti have to say id love to have him..unfortunatly the lakers cant afford him and keep lamar and arezia..and even though i curse out lamar alot there isnt too many players i let him go to get..birdman isnt one of them

llperezThe Lakers are already over the cap before they even try to resign Odom, Ariza, or Shanon Brown. Bynum’s new contract kicks in next year, and the owner is gonna have to cough up a lot of dough if he wants to keep this squad together. The last thing they need to be thinking about is going after other free agents until after they figure out if they could keep their current team together.

d-grizzlyParticipanti like odom too. but i could see la stealing him. bynum isn’t up to his standard of play. i’m almost garunteed sure rest this summer will bring him back. i think the finals is going to shape whether they go for another big man though. anderson is physical and an amazing defense presence…and consistent on d.

auberParticipantI think they end up signing and trading lamar odom. Trevor Ariza is in for a huge year next year.

Stanford hoopsParticipantthey cant afford birdman though..and i just dont see them signing and trading odom….people arent realizing that odom is very valuble..arezia is good..good shooting good defense and pretty athletic but odom can play the three and four and a very good rebounder and some nights is the best player on the floor..not too mention if a big man gets hurt (paul though he doesnt much and bynum, big men like that have many injuries) he can step right in. ..

Stanford hoopsParticipantdefine playing time?..he wont get starter min but he will get alot because he plays defense and playes with alot of energy..hes the second bigman off the bench behind odom

LegendParticipantI would like to see birdman go to the cavs. He is athletic and blocks a ton of shots. His rebounding and shot blocking alone would help a cavs interior defense that is getting very old. Also he can play above and finish around the rim.

birdman1113Participantthats only 10-15 mins a game im sure he wants at leasl 20-25 mins a game.
