Charlie SheenParticipantSay if Philadelphia picks Demarcus Cousins
Do you think if New Jersey picks Evan Turner they will work out a deal with the Wolves check this deal
Nets Recieve: Wolves 4th Monroe, Al Jefferson, Damien Wilkins and Ramon Sessions
Wolves Recieve: Nets 3rd Turner, Yi Jianlian, Sean Williams and Chris Douglas-RobertsNets
C- Lopez/Boone
F- Jefferson/Monroe
F- Gay-Johnson-James/Williams
G- Lee/Wilkins
G- Harris/SessionsWolves
C- Whiteside/Milicic
F- Love/Yi/Williams
F- Gay-Wright/Brewer
G- Turner/Douglas-Roberts
G- Flynn/Atkins0 - Posted on: Sun, 06/20/2010 - 9:01am #335992

Manny_3187ParticipantI think the nets would pick favors over monroe if they did that trade and i dont see it happening for the simple fact that the wolves arent going to trade thier best player to swap picks with New Jersey.

JoeWolf1A Whiteside/Darko lineup at center would be the worst 1st and 2nd string center combination in the league. Whiteside is at least 2 years from making any major contributions outside of shot blocking and Darko, although improved, hasn’t proved enough to trade a guy like Jefferson away and throw him in the mix as your starter.

Charlie SheenParticipantOkay Whiteside is far from being effective but letting him play will help him plus Whiteside/Love combo is close to Gasol/Bynum with Turner and Flynn at the guards they would only need a shooter at the 3 which they can get Minny would do it and New Jersey can now still sign a MAX guy plau bringing in Al Jeff they would be in the playoffs easily with this deal it works out for both sides really.

JoeWolf1Whiteside is a 225lb center who wants to be a perimeter shooter, I don’t think he’ll ever be on the same level as Bynum and definatly not Gasol. Love is a good young power forward, but the Gasol/Bynum thought is wishful thinking. I like the Whiteside pick at #16, but not with Jefferson gone, I see the upside he has and #16 isn’t too early to take a chance on him, but I think he has a better chance of being a bust than the next Gasol.
