No most underrated player of the nba today is Andrew Bogut.

How? Bogut just came back, and he has been much anticipated all season, no one is talking about Parsons, only the “bearded one” and Lin.

yes, he is averaging 14 pts 9 asts and 4.5 rbs. Those are pretty solid numbers for a point guard.

His attitude is what caused him to slide to the second round, what a steal by Houston.

Corey Brewer is also very underrated, he is one hell of a 6th man for Denver.

Hickson is my pick as well. Dude bangs with the best of ’em even though he’s only 6’9 and oftentimes playing the 5. Only the Sacramento Queens would trade for a guy as talented as Hickson, not play him, then shortly thereafter cut him.

how come? they have always been talked about. with his friendly contract, steal of the draft etc. praised a lot. especially vasquez, if there is a most improved player topic, expect his name to be at the top if not close. are you expecting them to be at the same sentence with the all stars? what more do you want lol

Considering he was compared to Luke Walton on this website. That’s unfair.

Parsons perimeter defense is very underrated, he’s quicker and longer than you’d think.

I agree, he looks about the same size as Paul George with similar athleticism. Just a little bit thinner.

Part of me wants to say something about you always putting pictures anytime you talk about anyone, but the other part of me likes it lol

Chandler is probably one of my favorite “other” guys in the league. I loved watching him at Florida

I love how everyone here tries too hard to be different/creative and just start naming their own underrated players.

I will go with Chandler Parson as one of more underrated players in the league today. The guy brings a lot of skills on the court that help his team win. He is 6’9, very versatile, can dribble, can shoot, and a solid defender. And he is only in his 2nd year, so his upside is still high. Reminds me of a longer/taller Brent Barry.

Today against the Mavs he scored 32 points. Going 12-13 from the field and 6-7 3 pointers.

His only miss was an obvious heat check: Contested, fall-away, 28 footer.

Parsons has been a beast all season, he’s a great scorer with a really high basketball IQ. He can shoot the three and put it on the floor. Yes the fast paced offense helps, but he is the real deal.

And anyone who doesn’t think the Rockets are going to package Parsons, Robinson, Motiejunas, and a first round pick for a disgruntled Star next season is kidding themselves, they’re going to sign Smith in the Off-Season as well, so just imagine Harden, Smith, and another Star coupled with a solid Center in Asik and a solid PG in Lin. They’d still have Terrence Jones who may be able to help off the bench, and Carlos Delfino is also ridiculously underrated as well, he can really stretch the floor and be a valuable shooter off the bench. And just look at their roster, it’s littered with high potential young players, like Tyler Honeycutt, Tim Ohlbrecht who they just signed from Germany, Patrick Beverley, and James Anderson. And if that third star is a defensive minded guy who can stretch the floor. I can’t really think of anyone, but isn’t Parson and a first round pick enough for a potentially disgruntled LaMarcus Aldridge? That would make for a monster Smith-Aldridge-Asik Frontline. All I know is that Daryl Morey deserves exec of the year because he’s done a masterful job assembling this team together.

The Rockets have got plenty of assets including Royce White if he ever comes good. They could create some noise in the playoffs this season….

Yeah, I’m sure teams are falling all over themselves to trade for Royce White.
