I belieive we would have to thow in 3 million $ or mobley contract to get the deal done……..i would the the 5th and the 8th…..we could very well get curry and hill…..get a second round pick get and get danny green.that would be a successful draft in my eyes….hill is an extremly athletic big man that the knicks need..if lee if gone….and curry would just be the icing on the cake……both will come in and play extremly hard and play right away……….what do the knicks fans out there think ?? any possibilites ?

I still don’t like Curry, but having two top 8 picks would be excellent. I like the idea of getting jordan hill at 5 a lot. If Curry is available at 8 then take him I guess, but I wouldnt mind Evans or Flynn with the 8th either.

Also, if this trade went down it wouldn’t it say this is either a complete crap draft or that Wilson has seriously out performed his draft spot if Wsh is willing to trade for him straight up for the 5th overall selection?

isn’t good enough for the 5th pick, I think the Wiz should stay away from big men because they already have Haywood who is descent and a surprising young talent in Javale McGee. They are loaded with Talent and it’s ridiculous how complete their team looks just if they can all get on the floor at the same time.

lilbbags take a grammar class and learn how to write and speak english. I think this would be a good trade. Frees up minutes for Danillo and this would probably translate to hill and holiday/curry. Our future would be bright.

Chandler for Holliday/Evans/Curry is a major downgrade in skill , plus hes still under his rookie contract so its not even a salary cap upgrade and Chandlers only 24. The only way Chandler is getting traded is if hes paired with a big contract like Eddy Curry

of course all the knicks fans love it because its better for yall and doesnt make sense for the wizards. i don’t see the wizards trading the 5 straight up for wilson chandler. SF is not a huge need for the wizards and there are going to be dozens of trade offers for the 5th pick by the time their selection comes up. The wiz can and will get a better offer and might look to trade one of their big three (pref jamison) in addition to the 5th pick for a top flight all star caliber player.

David Lee would fit SO well with the wizards. He’s the billionaire’s Darius Songaila. WHat is Lee’s status? are the knicks exploring trade options?

what about if they DO make the trade….Rubio could possibly want to fall to 5, or they could pick tyreke eveans and trade with memphis. Then pick an player like earl clark or curry at 8

I think Chandler looks like a very promising young player, but no way do I see him being worth the #5 pick straight up.

normally id said no to every team but the wizards. the wizards dont need the 5th pick and would probably much rather have chandler. im not convinced either team really wants too but it does make a little sense. but chandler really isnt that expensive though so im not sure if the knicks go through with it.

If I was NY I would try to throw a expiring contract in this deal.

I can see Chandler playing for the wizards, but they would have to add in someone like Larry Hughes or Chris Wilcox for them to get the no.5 pick. Wilson Chandler is not worth the no.5 pick like perez said, lets not go overboard

Wasn’t long ago Stoudemire was mentioned for the 5th or 6th pick. I know contracts are very important, but no one can say Chandler is in the same category of player that Amare is. I’m from Chicago and saw him play in college and know he is a young, inexpensive and talented player. No knoock on him. I do think if the pick is traded, it would have to be for a much better player. I’m sure if they don’t want to take on a 10 million dollar contract like Stoudemire’s they can find a more attractive match.
