Obviously, there are a ton of debates with the CBA discussions. Although it’s not one of the top things being discussed, what’s the chances the new CBA will eliminate the age requirement / 1 year removed from High School requirement? The players have stated they wish for it to be removed, but I’m not sure the owners will budge.

Does it have a "chance?" If so, what percent? 

And what impact could it have on the upcoming 2012 Draft? With the 2012 Draft already loaded with talent (assuming everyone comes out), removing the requirements to enter would mean Drummond would enter (although he may be able to regardless), Shabazz Muhammed, ETC.. 

IF it happens, the 2012 Draft would have to go down in history as one of the most stacked drafts of all time..

Thats surprising, the NBAPA is filled with quite a few older NBA vets, why’d they want younger guys coming into the league, eventually taking their spots…

i think it is just going to be a chip used by the nbapa to maybe gain some leverage. they say we want high schoolers to be allowed to enter but we can keep the same rule if you give us ….

thats just my opinion though. i still doubt high schoolers are allowed to enter in the near future.

Stern doesn’t want it, and I am sure he isn’t thrilled about the fact that Enes Kanter loopholed his way in despite having played all of 31 insignificant minutes in real games against grown men in his life. I know that there is no way he would want to see Andre Drummond go from prep school to the NBA. Playing against overmatched kids it is a bad way of evaluating pro prospects, and that is why the rule is in place. The league has saved itself from Fab Melo, Josh Selby, Renardo Sidney, Tiny Gallon, and Scotty Hopson bumming up the bad teams of the league because they were good in prep school. No NBA fan should want to go back to that.

And I think the one-&-done rule is good for the fans and the NBA. It enhances college competition, and teams have more time watch prospectsm so there will be less busts like Gerald Green and Robert Swift because GMs won’t just being going off "potential" with these HS prospects. Just think about it; if this one-&-done rule was never in place, DeAndre Jordan, Donte Greene, B.J. Mullens, and Josh Selby would’ve probably been top-5 picks.
