Probably Marc Gasol, but he doesn’t have ankle-breaking agility.
point guard skills:
– ball handling
– attacking the rim off dribble
– 3 point shot
– jump shot off the dribble
– passing ability
– passing ability while ball handling with head up
– hockey assists

It’s looking like David Lee is the starting PF for the Celtics, and Brad Stevens has called him a point forward, and given him the green light to dribble the ball up the court. Much of the offense is also being run through Lee.
Between Lee and Olynyk, who is coming off the bench with Isaiah, the Celtics have two of the most skilled bigs in the game to really make the offense flow beautifully.
Watching Andre Drummond feels like being in a time machine. No skill centers like that are quickly headed to the dustbin of history. Complete liability on offense, and has yet to make his team better in his career.
I think the Warriors are really going to miss David Lee. They did him a favor by trading him, but no way are they better off with Jason Thompson.
In key moments of the NBA Finals, it was David Lee playing (point) center.

I dont know why that vid of the Pau assist was downvoted…
It was Pretty awesome to see a big getting fancy like that on the break.
The big imo that matches your criteria above is probably dirk but I have never really though of him as having point guard skills. The big with the best point guard skills to me are demarcus and saric.

If Giannis ends up playing center, he and Parker will be one of the most skilled big combos in the NBA. I don’t think Monroe or Parker would like coming off the bench, but I think Giannis has more potential even at center than Monroe, and Monroe can’t space the floor at all.
Parker coming off the bench makes more and more sense all the time.
Like Isaiah Thomas and Olynyk, Parker could dominate second units and still play more minutes than Monroe and most starters.

but Noel & Cauley-Stein have crazy ability w/ footwork & dribbling & just overall freedom of movement for 7 footers… & I agree that boogie Cousins is a Beast as well but my vote would be for Anthony Davis – wasn’t he actually a pg then grew to 6’10” or 6’11”??? He has such a unique skills package for that size – he is Amazing! a pleasure to watch….

Bogut ran the GS offense in the regular season, so him, but he isn’t exactly what the post is asking for. Given AD is a 4, it’s probably Noah. Diaw will play 5 this year though n is the best answer.

I posted this in the Porzingis thread, but he’s definitely looking like one of the better point center type prospects. Not bad for a Gobert level defender.
In just his second pre-season game, against the Wizards, he showed an array of skills:
– dribbling ball up the court
– 3 point shot
– super smooth pull up jumper
– drive and dish
– in addition to his amazing mobility at 7’3".
The pull up jumper was most impressive to me. Simply unblockable, and he’s the ultimate threat.

    He has a beautiful shot, and he’s a great shooter. Anybody with a 7’7" wingspan or whatever it is is going to look different shooting a jump shot. The coordination he has at 7’3" is pretty much unprecendented outside of Yao Ming. Effortless nba 3 point range, and ability to pull up off the dribble from anywhere.
    Then add to that his ability to play two positions, and basically guard all 5 in spurts, and it might not be long until he’s replacing Melo as the most valuable Knick, even if Melo is scoring more points.
    This guy is like Kelly Olynyk offensively and Rudy Gobert defensively. He can (relatively) quietly dominate the advanced stats like +/-, real plus minus, on-court/off-court, etc.
    The Knicks are set to overachieve this year, and Porzingis will quietly be playing a key, if not THE key role in the resurgence.
    Knicks might have the best frontcourt in the NBA in Melo, Porzingis, Robin Lopez, and Kyle O’Quinn.
