KreedOneParticipantWith all these rumors with Rondo being traded, and the Celtics trying to acquire as many 2014 first rounders as possible, would it be a better idea to keep Rondo and then trade him for a lottery pick because theyre going to be a lottery team anyways and theyre trading him to contenders that would make the pick be in the 20’s range.

KHAM83ParticipantI think Ainge wants a pick that can potentially turn into a top 2 pick. I doubt a team winning a top 2 pick would then turn around and trade it for Rondo.

SliderParticipantI just think the Celtics should go ahead and trade Rondo now while they can get young players and draft picks. If they wait, who knows, he might tail off and not have any trade value next year.
