bobbybParticipantWhy did the Lakers cut this guy ? Even if he didnt play great in pre season, he is the only guy ( from the bench) that can create his own offense. Their bench looks terrible. Blake is on the decline, Meeks is decent, Ebanks is a hard worker but isnt skillled or have any moves, Jameson is DONE ( no wonder he could only get a minimum deal), Hill is sufficient.. for a backup, and Sacre is at best a 3rd string center…on the Bobcats.

CynthiaParticipantNot sure, kind of surprised me too, figured him for a lock as a cheap but good role-player. I hope he at least gets to go somewhere, because he’s better than a lot of current NBA players.

RUDEBOY_ParticipantThere were at least 3 other teams interested in him, before he decided to go with the Lakers…
And I heard this morning, that Memphis will give him a workout over the weekend…..

TyroberParticipantHe will land somewhere. He’s too good of a talent to not be in the NBA

JoeWolf1He was a great fantasy FA pick up his 2nd year, when he was playing for that terrible Nets team. I wonder if something else is up with him, it’s not often a guy drops 10 ppg at 23 years old and is out of the year 2 years later.

llperezlakers bench has been bad, but cdr wasnt better then any of the guys they kept. I actually the bigs are just fine off the bench with jordan hill, sacre and jamison. Hill in particular looked great all 3 games he played scoring double digits in each of them continuing his playoff succes from last season where he was the lakers best bench guy. Its the 3 perimter positions that are really weak. but i doubt cdr was the guy

river09ParticipantWhy don’t teams hang on to this guy?? I have always been a fan, his playing style may be very unorthodox but given enough playing time it can be really effective. He’s not hopeless on defense.. What am I missing?
