nateoak10ParticipantSeriously wtf, the Cavs are SO close to a title and of him and LBJ both go there I say they easily win the title. If CB4 goes to Miami he plays with Wade and a bunch of role players. They will be in the playoffs but definitely couldn’t win the title this year and maybe the next. If he goes to the Cavs not only will he make them probably the best team in the NBA with LAL but he will get ALL of his money, play with LBJ and automatically go from great player on bad team to great player on great team. If I was CB4 I’d be in Cleveland with LBJ yesterday

Tongue-Out-Like-23ParticipantIf Bosh goes to Miami in a sign and trade.. They still have about 15mil and an MLE and the bird rights to Haslem. They can go after very good players.
0 - Posted on: Tue, 07/06/2010 - 12:16pm #347650

Tongue-Out-Like-23ParticipantPlus, who’s going to play center for the Cavs? Who’s going to play SG?
Shaq isn’t going back, Big Z is like 50, Anthony Parker is like 40.
Who do the Cavs have? They have no cap room, a PG who chokes, a young PF, another PF who flops.

Mr.Knick 32ParticipantThe Market is the issue.
Bosh wants to build his market appeal and wants to expand his endorsements. He wants a S&T and he wants more hype. It’s a shame and LBJ must be pissed. He wants a title to Cleveland and Bosh is holding him back.

bkb77ParticipantMO,LBJ,Jameson,Bosh= Cavs Lakers finals
0 - Posted on: Tue, 07/06/2010 - 12:18pm #347653

JoeWolf1It’d be a sign and trade, Cleveland would have to give up players to get Bosh. I agree with Shaq and Big Z as their centers, they wouldn’t be able to hang and I’m not sure who they’d have to give up to get Bosh, but it would most likely include JJ Hickson. I don’t blame Bosh for not wanting to goto Cleveland.
0 - Posted on: Tue, 07/06/2010 - 12:22pm #347655

Tongue-Out-Like-23ParticipantMaybe Varejao, West, and Gibson. That would leave them without a backup SG, backup PG.
Bosh doesn’t want to play center.
0 - Posted on: Tue, 07/06/2010 - 12:30pm #347661
nateoak10ParticipantHaywood, Kurt Thomas. Someone servicabel. And to you tongue out, how they hell would Miami do a S?T when they got lie 2 guys on the team and there salaries dont add up to the max? think it through.
If they did the West and Varejao for CB4 this is what they get
PG:Mo, Boobie
SG:Parker,Moon
SF:LBJ,Jamison
PF:CB4,Jamison,Hickson
C: Center X, CB4That is a big team with lots of deph up front, CB4 will play some center where ever he is if he likes it or not
0 - Posted on: Tue, 07/06/2010 - 12:33pm #347662

Tongue-Out-Like-23ParticipantWest and Varejao don’t match up to CB4s contract.
And it’s called a sign and trade because the Heat can also resign players like Richardson or Dorell Wright or Joel Anthony in order to match Bosh’s contract. DUH! Sign and trade means both teams can sign…. SMH
You want Jamison to guard SFs? He’s too slow to guard PFs.
0 - Posted on: Tue, 07/06/2010 - 12:38pm #347668

OhCanada-ParticipantTongue you my friend do not understand how this works…Varejao, West and Gibson?WHY THE FUCK WOULD BC DO THAT.WHY NOT LET BOSH WALK AND TAKE CAP SPACE.
0 - Posted on: Tue, 07/06/2010 - 12:42pm #347669

Tongue-Out-Like-23ParticipantWhy do that when you can get Dorrell Wright, Haslem, and Beasley?
There’s WAAAAAAY better offers than a bunch of bench players with bad contracts.
Plus, I’m agreeing that Bosh isn’t going to do a sign and trade with Cleveland, don’t attack me you idiot, read the posts.
0 - Posted on: Tue, 07/06/2010 - 12:44pm #347673
nateoak10ParticipantWith an overpaid contract just to make the S/T work? And no usually a S/T has 1 team doing the signing. Rarely do both teams sign a player and trade them, usually the players would just sign there on there own….
Who’d you rather have? Beasley and QRich or West and Varejao/Hickson? If contracts dont work throw in Boobie. And if this happens Id bet players would take a pay cut to come there and win as a backup PG. Jamison has always been able to play some 3 and wtf are you talking about he’s too slow to guard 4’s? More like slightly too small. You obviously dont know how S/T’s actually work orhow a GM thinks… SMFH
0 - Posted on: Tue, 07/06/2010 - 12:44pm #347675

mini_marzParticipanthonestly oh canada is right… i would rather the cap space then waste time with whatever cleaveland send us back…. y would we want hickson and varejao or even west and gibson???? our front court has no room at all… we just drafted 2 big guys and signed another back… bosh to Miami for beasley chalmers and anthony seems like the more logical move… if BC send him the cleaveland then fuck him and fire him
0 - Posted on: Tue, 07/06/2010 - 12:45pm #347676
nateoak10Participanto you saying there are better offers is a dumb point to make, its all on CB4 saying okay.
0 - Posted on: Tue, 07/06/2010 - 12:49pm #347680

Tongue-Out-Like-23ParticipantBoth teams can sign and trade and you’re the one that doesn’t think so.
2nd of all, a S/T doesn’t mean that Q-Rich is getting that 7m contract back, they give him a new contract.
So you’d rather get Varejao (a backup flopper), West (backup PG), Boobie (3rd string PG/SG)
Instead of Q-Rich (backup SF), Mike “B-Easy” Beasley (can eventually be the next Antawn Jamison), and Dorell Wright (heck of a SF)
Now I see you’re going to get mad because we don’t have the same point of views. It’s just a website. I’m off this thread, goodbye.

mini_marzParticipantnateoak u really think that cleveland is that close to a title? really? they couldn’t beat boston, orlando and no chance that they would have beat LA in the finals…. and honestly if wade gets the right teammate beside him i doubt that cavs would beat them… Miami may only have 2 guy under contract but Pat Riley will work some magic and get some good vets some how some way…. the cavs only got that far on the shoulders of lebron… and less people forget bosh for locked down in the playoffs… teams didn’t even need to double him… he couldn’t really hang with the physicallness of the playoffs… how u get locked down by rashard lewis and mikki moore??????????????
0 - Posted on: Tue, 07/06/2010 - 12:52pm #347684

Tongue-Out-Like-23Participantmini_marz
I completely agree. +1
Cavs are not close to a championship.
Mo Williams = A fake Jameer Nelson
Antawn Jamison = Undersized PF or slow SF
Anderson Varejao = A flopper who’s flops don’t work much anymore
Hickson = Overhyped Brandon Bass trying to make him look like Amar’eNo more Shaq, Big Z is like 50, Parker and Moon are like 45.
0 - Posted on: Tue, 07/06/2010 - 12:53pm #347686
goneParticipantIdk bout ya but I lost alot of respect for Bosh the way he handled this free agent stuff from saying he wants to be the man for his team to having dinner with wade taking cameras everywhere with him and alot of other stuff like he is trynna soak up the entertainment value of this………he is a big contradiction
0 - Posted on: Tue, 07/06/2010 - 12:55pm #347687
McWinningParticipantLast series Bosh was in he averaged 24 & 9, hes no bum in the playoffs, how was he getting locked down?
0 - Posted on: Tue, 07/06/2010 - 12:57pm #347689

mini_marzParticipantthank you tongue out…. and i love the comparisons… cleveland players were not that good at all… just riding the greatness of LeBron lol… jamison is ok… but is it just me or has he lost a big step in his game? doesn’t seem to that great and cleveland was looking for him.
0 - Posted on: Tue, 07/06/2010 - 12:59pm #347691

mini_marzParticipanttrust me he didn’t play well…. got bullied by lewis a lot…. took a lot of really bad shots and fg% was pretty bad… luckily refs put him to the line… trust me it hurt to watch toronto get taken out of the playoffs… i watched every minute lol
0 - Posted on: Tue, 07/06/2010 - 1:01pm #347693

Toronto16ParticipantWhy would Bosh leave a beautiful city like Toronto to play in Cleveland?
0 - Posted on: Tue, 07/06/2010 - 1:08pm #347705

mini_marzParticipanthis stats against orland were pretty good…. but it gets boosted because he had 2 really good games… sorry about saying the bad FG% i was thinkin about when we played NJ lol…. yea would u wanna leave a beautiful city for cleveland lol o well millions can make people do a lot of things…
0 - Posted on: Tue, 07/06/2010 - 1:11pm #347706
nateoak10ParticipantRemember that at 1 point they were up 2-0 on Boston? Its not like there awful, they also have been winning more than any other team th last 2 years
I know it wouldnt give Q Rich a 7 mil dollar deal but the money HAS to even out, someone would get overpaid. Rarely do both teams have to sign someone to do a S/T. Name 3 deals where it was a double S/T in recent years….
Mini Marz, stop thinking what YOU want and think is fair. The fact is Tdot okay’ed the deal and so did the Cavs but CB4 is the only one stopping it. Sometimes the GN does something a fan doesnt like… SHOCKER
lets not forget they will also get a healthy leon powe and Z is a FA…….. Moon isnt that old either. 30 isnt a bad age in todays NBA
0 - Posted on: Tue, 07/06/2010 - 1:18pm #347713

mini_marzParticipanti think that no person in there rite mind would want that trade to cleveland… i would rather trade him for any type of player that has potential
0 - Posted on: Tue, 07/06/2010 - 1:20pm #347716

mgreener_34ParticipantFor starters there is no way the Raptors trade Bosh to the Cavs. Really what would they send back? Hickson? They just drafted a PF and SG in the lottery, and have Hedo at SF. Who could the Cavs possibly give them? If they do do a sign and trade it should be to Houston, and bring back a few good prospects and make Bosh happy.
0 - Posted on: Tue, 07/06/2010 - 1:30pm #347725
nateoak10ParticipantTDOT IS OKAY WITH THE DEAL CLEVELAND OFFERED, dont ask why but they did. that simple, the actual deal isnt the question. the rumored deal they like is west and varejao, why? ask them. i dont see why its so hard to understand, i know youd rather have something else but its not what you might get
the point is cb4 is the only one holding it back and adding him to a 60 win team will make them amazing, remember when everyone thought it was them or LA in the finals? they were up 2-0 on boston as well. there not that far, throw in maybe the 2nd best big in the nba and you got something special
0 - Posted on: Tue, 07/06/2010 - 1:55pm #347760

sheltwon3ParticipantWhy would Toronto make this move if not just to help Cleveland.
0 - Posted on: Tue, 07/06/2010 - 1:57pm #347761

PlatypusParticipantI could see Hickson playing shooting guard even though he is 6’9 he has a very long wing span and they would want to give him the minutes, it’d be like an Al Horford type, where he should be playing power forward but has to play center. i’m not comparing Hickson to Horford but he’d be playing in that role.
say they trade Varejao, West, and Gibson and a ton of first rounders
Mo Williams – Telfair
Parker – Moon / Green
LBJ – Jamison
Bosh – Jamison / Leon Powe
Hickson – Big Z and/or Shaq (could come back) / Leon PoweJamison then traded for J Rich
Williams – Telfair / Free agent
J Rich – Parker / Green
LBJ – Moon / Green
Bosh – Powe / Free Agent
Hickson – Big Z and/or Shaq (could come back)Raptors would be dumb to trade him to the Cavs

NashyMingParticipantBC is so freaking dumb to agree on that crappy deal to get a bunch of overpaid role players from the CAVS for Bosh.
Luckily, Bosh is a smart guy and decided against going to Cleveland. He saved BC’s ass big time!
I am fine with the deal to Miami with Bosh and Calderon for Chalmers + 2 1st round picks + the huge TE.
I think Heat would want to include Beasley too, but BC somehow dislikes Beasley so much that he wouldn’t gamble on his talent. I would like to see Beasley to be included. Oh well.
Now, if BC can turn that TE into Collison and Okafor. The Raptors semi-rebuilding is done. Solid roster to compete for playoff while has enough young players for the future.
Note: Bosh made a good choice to go to the Heat (although I think the Nets would be even better because they already have Harris and Lopez). The Heat can actually build a nice team around Wade and Bosh with so much cap space if they pick the players wisely. I have no doubt that Pat Riley would be able to assemble a solid supporting cast.

Toronto wants Noah, but instead gets the player Noah tries to be Verajao. Noah stats arent evn as good as AV per minute.
JJ has the future to be as good as Bosh, he averaged close to a double double in limited minutes behind AV, Shaq, and Jamison.
West can play 2 spots good and get you 12, 5, and 5 or cut him and it saves money.
Parker is a top 5 3pt% shooter.
Cleveland gets Bosh, resigns James and Shaq comes back for a title chase.
4 or 5seed 1 seed
Toronto Cavs
Bargs Shaq
AV/Hickson Bosh
Hedo James
Derozan Harris or Eyenga
West/Calderone WilliamsCavs may also trade Jamison for Hedo to save Toronto long term money.

ilike.panochasParticipantFor the guy that made this thread, NO! The Cavs were NOT close to winning the championship. They gave up on and played without heart vs Boston, and it takes ALOT OF HEART to win a championship, and that team does not have it.

OhCanada-ParticipantNate how is the rumored deal West and Varejao. Thats1 writers opinion not the rumoured deal.
