This is no Lebron Bashing cuz i’m sick of it

West, 26, is under contract for one more season with a salary of $4.6 million but he’s owed just $500,000 if he’s waived by Aug. 3. The Cavs have been looking to trade West and there’s a chance he’ll be released if he’s still with the team in August.

In addition to looking for point guards via trade, league sources said the Cavs have been interested in several free agent wings. Ronnie Brewer, a defensive specialist who averaged 8.8 points and 3.3 assists for the Jazz and Grizzlies last season, is on the radar. Several teams have interest in him, including the Chicago Bulls.

Also on the Cavs’ list is forward Rasual Butler, who averaged 11.9 points and 2.9 rebounds for the Los Angeles Clippers. Sources also indicate the Cavs have interest in Antoine Wright, a solid defender who averaged 6.5 points for the Raptors last season, and former Cav Flip Murray, a scoring specialist who averaged 9.9 points with the Bobcats and Bulls in 2009-10

    If I’m Cleveland.

F it. I’m losing at least 40 games this year, why not make some moves? I would deal Mo Williams, Antwan Jamison and Verejao right now. I would want to get low under the cap and choke next season. Get a top 4 pick. That means either Enes Kanter, Kyrie Irving, Jan Vesely or Harrison Barnes.

Then, wait till some stupid team gets high over the lux tax. Then, come through with my nice Trade Exception.

It would be funny if the Cavs won the lottery next season, and because of the “potential lockout” all the top class guys decide to stay in college, and they end up settling for a senior that probably would have went late first-round in a regular draft….

But I agree with Knicksboy, get rid of Mo Will, Jamison, and Varejao, and bring in some better assets for the future
