As a cavs fan i’m not sure how i feel about this. Taking Waiters at 4 seems like a reach.

KHAM83ParticipantI like Waiters a lot, but I think its more of a smoke screen. I think they still prefer Beal or Barnes and do not want Wash/Char screwing them up by picking either player or trading to a team who wants either. Its been kept a scret for so long, how do they let this out on draft day??? If true, they could easily swap #4 with Portland for #6 and get Waiters while getting assets.

220ParticipantI read something on ESPN saying they hope to acquire another pick to draft Waiters not to draft him at 4

Cavaliers420ParticipantDefinitely a smokescreen. Honestly doubt our GM would pass on either a big or a SF with the 4th pick. Only way I can honestly see it changing is if we trade up for Beal or if we trade down for more picks? Only hypothetical I see though. Hopefully the Cavs know what they’re doing!
