6-6-6-lolParticipantThe hook actually sounds legit. Boozer’s lyrics on the other hand… not so much.

akhan786ParticipantThese Duke players need to stop rapping. Did anyone else hear Austin Rivers rhyme during halftime of the Nike Hoop Summit? It was deplorable.
Big Duke fan…but please it’s embarassing.

Awesome-O-420ParticipantThank goodness in order to do any other genre of music you have to play an instrument, ie have talent, guys like Boozer cannot ruin other forms of music. I’m not against rap music, but the genre has been raped by people like him. Being black/having money/being a basketball player are not prerequisites for rapping, there is talent involved for rapping, but people tend not to think so, thats why the genre has been taken over by guys with no talent making cliche videos where they high fives their buddies then dance around with bling on.
If you disagree, then can you explain why MTV doesn’t play music anymore and now just shows 16 and pregnant?!
My answer – it’s because talentless morons have hijacked the genre with lame lyrics, stolen beats, and the same themes in music videos (guys high five their buddies, show off how rich they are with cars/women/bling etc, no story line, just always at some party or in the studio zzz zzz zzz zzz sorry seen that music video done too many times). Guys like Boozer continue to perpetuate my belief that their is little to not creativity left in rap, and the little that there is, those guys don’t get record deals anymore.
Congrats Chicago fans, you got yourself a bonafide rapper in Boozer. Now you know why he’s too busy to work on his defense or improve his offensive game. Don’t worry though, when he gets injured again (like every season), he’ll have plenty of time to work on his rap game.
