GoJOSH HUESTISParticipantThis was a prettty good game. The lyles kid was a rebounding monster but was getting D’d up because he had no help down low. Wiggins did pretty good but needed more from him as well but the defense did a great job of stopping that.the Xavier kid was scoring well but took a couple of bad shots. Over all this was a good defensive game mixed with bad shooting

mikeyvthedonParticipantThey won’t get the chance to play the US. Well, as I said, Trey is really the only post player that Canada has that can offer very much. Xavier Rathan-Mayes is a good shooter but terribly streaky. Tyler Ennis looked great when I saw him and had an apparently abysmal game. Hopefully they get a slightly deeper team for the U19 World Championships. The Cadet team will more than likely have a few players that end up on the Juniors next year. Brazil has some intriguing young prospects, have heard good things about Lucas Dias Silva.

GoJOSH HUESTISParticipantThe Lucas kid is a beast. The announcers said he was their leading scorer and rebounder and didn’t start one game (not a real big deal since he played a lot of minutes). As a team the canada team just doesn’t have shooters. The highest percentage of any one that took a good amount of shots for the tournament was 41 percent. The best three point shooter was their big man Lyes at 41 percent. Wiggins 31 and Xavier 27 percent

niQParticipantSad that they lost. But they have some good prospects in Andrew Wiggins, Trey Lyles and Xavier. At least the future is looking brighter up north!
