76ers defeat the Suns in Phoenix with Okafor out of the lineup…

Ish Smith and Nerlens Noel led them to a victory, the chemistry is back between them…

Cutting the young and erratic Tony Wroten may be a case of addition by subtraction,..

Canaan and Stauskas lead the way offensively with 22 and 17 respectively…

We even had a Carl Landry sighting and boy do we need a Veteran Face on this roster, wouldnt mind them trading or Cutting a few spare pieces for another Veteran or 2…

This was a suprisng win after letting go of Tony Wroten and hiring Mike D’Antoni, I’m not going to make more of it but imagine what Noel/Okafor and Stauskas would do with a high level Point Guard via the Draft(Murray or Dunn???)

lets be honest, the 76ers are still the worst team in the league, only the Lakers could challenge them for worst record,

but it is nice to see that they are atleast trying to turn the corner, and change the culture away from Lose at all cost.  it will take alot of time to undo the damage from the losing mentality that has been established, but they have taken a couple of baby steps in a positive direction.

They need a point guard with top notch leadership that can get other guys involved effectively. If it aint gonna be Simmons, Dunn is the next best option. Murray would be good on most other teams, but as a combo guard I’m not sure if he is what Philly needs to take the next step.

Noel and Smith have great chemistry. It was a real head scratcher when he wasn’t brought back before the season. It shows the importance of having a player that could take care of the ball, penetrate the defense and find the big man or a shooter on the perimeter. Canaan, Wroten, and MCW couldn’t do that.
