NYKnicksuperFanParticipantI would rather have Ty Lawson over Jonny Flynn
I mean honestly wy is Flynn ranked 6-10 while Lawson is 23-28
They are equal in size, quickness and shooting BUT lawson is a better passer and game manager
I watched them play thru college and Lawson was head and shoulders above Flynn(graanted UNC was stacked) Flynn is flashy but inconsistent while Lawson always delivered usually playing thru injuryYour thoughts?

Justbiz123possibly, i think jonny flynn possess more lateral quickness and creativeness off the bounce, and a more conventional jumper and excellent motor. plus i think he gets wayyyy more pussy than ty lawson does, and thats always a plus.

dsalIt aint even close Flynn is way better than lawson. There is no way Flynn gets by the bucks with pick 10. Were talking about a guy with a 40 inch vert. He is a tremendous player its not even close btwn him and lawson

mb6297The other guys gave good reasons why Flynn is a better player…
On another note, the Knicks should draft the home grown New York product. He is from upstate (Niagara Falls) and stayed in the NY to play college ball at Syracuse.

unofficialscoutParticipantI saw Flynn play 60+ minutes in that 6 overtime game vs. Connecticut. He is special and I thought quite underrated before the combine. He is a more crafty scorer than Lawson and has more offensive moves. Flynn has a great midrange game, better lateral quickness, and more crafty moves to finish around the basket while Lawson relies on his blazing speed too much and has an unconventional jumper (the only reason had a good 3pt percentage last year is because he got open looks because defending players had to respect his speed and gave him a lot of space) Plus Flynn is a better leaper which helps small PG’s. They can both be good passers but Lawson looks for his offense first sometimes while Flynn looks to pass more. Ty Lawson is an undersized Raymond Felton while Flynn is an undersized Chris Paul. I am not saying Flynn is the next Chris Paul but he will be a top 10 point guard in the league one day while Lawson will be a decent starter but nothing special. I do think Flynn and Rubio are the top point guards in the draft (Im not sold on Jennings).

gatorheelsParticipantjustbiz123 hahahah you are a clown…that comment was pretty funny
Flynn has more upside. They are both great players. There isn’t a huge difference between the two. Both will make it in the nba. Flynn will be the better player.

dwat4444ParticipantJustbiz you may be the most intelligent man on the face of this planet. I congatulate you. You have figured out the system of rating draft prospects. Blake Griffin is getting laaaaaiiiiiiddddd.

Justbiz123exactly, a prospect that gets pussy on the regular is gonna be generally more happy and positively-focused as opposed to one who isn’t gettin laid on the regular. Why you think an ugly nigga like Thabeet aint gonna have much success on the next level!

gatorheelsParticipantActually I saw Thabeet in the stands watching the NCAA title game and he had a beautiful girl sitting next to him.

NYKnicksuperFanParticipantLuke Harangody’s chances in the NBA just went from 3% to zero shot

auberParticipantlawson is the better player right now, but flynn’s upside is off the charts.
