I watched Umass play LSU a week ago and this beast of a man stood out to me…His name is Cady LaLanne (pronounced Caddie La-Lane) and he’s a flippin machine.

6’10” 253, Junior center. Long, athletic and strong. I’m shocked nobody has talked about him yet…born in St. Martin (Virgin Islands) and has a reported 7’3” wingspan according to Umass’s athletic site.

He’s a relentless post scorer out there and the backbone of Umass’s defense

Today in the crushing of new mexico, he had 16 points, 14 boards and 4 blocks..

In the 5-0 start for the Minutemen, LaLanne is averaging 17.4 ppg, 11.2 rpg, 2.4 bpg, and is shooting 66% from the field…

He’ll be a senior next year and could be a lotto pick in 2015

Haven’t seen him play so I can’t comment on him, but only two seniors have been drafted in the lottery in the last four years. CJ McCollum and Jimmer,

Missed the game, also have not seen him play. Did he guard Alex Kirk (32 points) at all?

Alex Kirk scored 18 of his 32 points from three point line (LaLanne wasn’t guarding him much out there – understandably so) and from the free throw line. Kirk’s also a really good player so I won’t take that away from him, but Sampson Carter for umass checked Kirk for probably 30% of the time as well. I can’t remember Kirk actually dominating LaLanne 1 on 1 more than maybe once.

Kirk also took 26 shots – he’s bound to score some baskets…

He was finally healthy (foot issues) and could work out during the off-season….looks to have put on about 15 pounds of muscle

He took it to Johnny O’Bryant in the first game of the year…

He’s a huge reason why UMASS is 6-0

She can be the beast. She really flipped great. Flipping a house is one of the few ways a person can make money on houses. Granted, that’s when housing as an industry was fairly healthy. Now, however, it it’s been sick for a while, but more people are flipping homes again. You need to make sure you have the ability to add value to that property.
