i didnt really fully look at the bulls trades untill now. they did very well getting flip and warrick. both players can come off the bench and get 15 on a given night and flip can get 20-25 from time to time. this trade might not get as much pub as the others but it could pay off very well for the bulls

I think Warrick is more a 10-12 guy, 15 is a bit of a push, though agree with you on Flip. Just wondering Q, do you think the Bulls will sign DWade???

I like Warrick more than Flip. Both players will be gone next year but they add some good depth to the bench. Taj is starting to play better now that his faciitis is healing. I don’t get why they released Richard and decided to keep Lindsey Hunter. Richard was a high energy big guy and Hunter never plays. They have now won 4 in a row and have averaged 113 points per game in that stretch. They seem to have more confidence now and are really starting to play well together.

I will also say this; I pointed out to Heels that team chemistry is huge and even one players attitude can affect a teams’ performance and demeaner. He said that he never heard any Bull say anything bad about him. Players never call out another when they are still on the team. But check out the quote from Rose in today’s paper about the new acquisitions:

“With the guys that we have, they are just gonna help us. They don’t have any attitude problems or anything like that. They’re coming in, and they just want to ball”

Read it how you want to but I take that as a shot to Tyrus. They have won the 2 games since he has been traded and just look more loose on the bench and floor. I think it was a great trade for both clubs.

Bulls made great trades this deadline….Warrick is a clone of Tyrus Thomas just better and a smarter overall player then Tyrus. And Flip is a guy that can score in this league…so he is also a nice spark plug off the bench. If Warrick continues playing like he has….Bulls might look to keep him.

The Bulls are one of those teams who could (I repeat could) whiff this summer chasing stars. If you consider that it is likely that LeBron, Wade, and Bosh stay where they are, and then factor in that they are probably grouped in with the Nets, Wizards, and Clippers behind the Heat and Knicks in terms of appeal for the free agents who will leave their teams, it isn’t crazy to think that they will end up keeping a guy like Hakim. If they do strike out with the stars, I’d rather see them use their cap space to bring in someone by trade as opposed to overpaying a guy like David Lee.
