Amnesty Carlos Boozer. Use that money to sign eitherNic Batum, Eric Gordon, or James Harden. Pay transfer fee for Nikola Mirotic to come over. Sign Goran Dragic or Aaron Brooks to back up Rose.

 Boozer-he kills this team despite the 16 and 9. One of the worst defenders on the best defensive team. Other players put their heads down and sheak their heads every time Boozer doesn’t rotate- giving up easy buckets, reaches insead of moving his feet, gets beat, or is just flat out lazy, etc. His contract his terrible-get rid of it. Signing one of Batum/Gordon/Harden will give the Bulls that second scorer, and someone who can create their own shot, that they have been looking for. Mirotic is the only player ever to win the Rising Star Award twice. I think the Bulls would only have to pay 2-4 million to bring him over. Dude can shoot, FG-52% 3PT-43% FT-91%.  I think they need an upgrade at back up point, especailly with Rose being gone until December most likely.  This plan is costly but Rose is not going to be around forever.

There is no way Dragic would ever take a backup role.  He’s proved he could start in the NBA.  The same goes for Brooks.  I agree they should amnesty Boozer he’s a waste of money.  If they could find a way to bring Nikola over that would be huge but I believe he will finish his contract in Europe before coming to the NBA. The best thing they can do is use the money they would save by using the amnesty on Boozer and using it towards a sharp shooter.  They have Asik, Gibson, and Noah as their big men so they are set on that front.  I agree they need a solid backup PG and I think the only real way they can get one is through the draft or a Pat Mills type PG.  It’s only a matter of time before Rose gets hurt again.

Even if they amnesty Boozer they would have no cap room to sign anyone
