The Bulls will also receive a first round pick from the Mavs.

DanEboyParticipantThe trade rumor I keep hearing, although Ainge vigorously denies it, which I believe, would be Allen for Kirk and the expiring contract of Jerome James. This trade makes zero sense for the Celtics but as a Bulls fan, I would love it. A line up of Rose, Allen, Deng, Gibson, and Noah would be much better than the current starting 5. It would also allow the Bulls to offer Allen a lesser contract and still have room to go after a big name free agent. The Bulls would get a lot better real fast.

gatorheelsParticipant^ agreed. I would love that trade but it won’t happen. The Celtics aren’t going to do that unless some other pieces are involved. Boston would become a significantly worse team & their chances of a title would be down the drain. DanEboy- Tyrus Thomas needs to be starting. He continues to outplay Gibson. He is a better player. Vinny is a terrible coach that doesn’t recognize talent when it is right in front of him. I’m sick of seeing Hinrich & Gibson start…they are both below average nba starters.

DanEboyParticipantI am sticking to my guns Heels. He is just too inconsistent for me. He might have the better potential but Gibson brings it every night. Now if they sign a guy like Bosh, Gibson would be great coming off the bench.

KevinDurantRocksParticipantI think Kirk is a decent starter. He is a very good defender and decent 3 shooter

gatorheelsParticipant^ He is an overrated defender. Look at what he has done the last couple of games. Willie Green, Marcus Thornton, & Eric Gordon all shot high FG%’s against Hirich & scored well above their season points per game average.
Hinrich shoots bricks. I wouldn’t call him a descent shooter. He has the worst FG% on the entire team out of the players that play significant minutes. His 3 point % isn’t good either….Deng & Salmons shoot better than he does from deep.

DanEboyParticipantI like Hinrich, in the minority I know, but if they can get value for him then he has to go. The Bulls need a second option badly.

LawDeeZeeParticipantthey’re not looking for a second option, they’re looking to drop salary for the summer
